Tina Fey’s Jet-Setting Comedy The Four Seasons Returns For Season 2

Keen for a comedy series that’s funny yet heartfelt? Then get ready to jet off for more seasonal holidays in Season 2 of Tina Fey’s The Four Seasons, which premieres on Netflix on 28th May. Starring Fey alongside returning cast members Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Erika Henningsen, it’ll reunite us with the close-knit friend group and take them on a whole new set of laughs and drama. Here’s everything you need to know:
What is The Four Seasons Season 2 about?
The series revolves around a group of long-time friends – Kate (Fey), Jack (Will Forte), Danny (Colman Domingo), Claude (Marco Calvani), Anne (Kerri Kenney-Silver) and Ginny (Erika Henningsen), who all get together four times a year to head on a seasonal holiday. Season 2 is set to continue this format with four new trips that we follow the group on, with all the ups and downs they go through. But we can’t talk about the next season without the big event that occurs just toward the end of last season (spoilers, of course): one of the group, Nick (played by Steve Carell), is tragically killed in a car crash, throwing the friends into grief. There’s also added drama because Ginny, who was Nick’s new partner following a separation from his wife, is revealed to be pregnant.

The next season will see how the friend group moves forward and copes with these changes, and how they’ll continue to support Ginny. What exactly will the group be finding themselves getting up to this time? It’s largely being kept under wraps by Netflix, but it looks like the tone may continue to shift into drama and emotional moments.
Is there a trailer, and who else stars?
We don’t yet have a full trailer for the new season, but Netflix has released quite the selection of first-look images showing off the cast in the various locations the group are in this time around. It’ll also follow the same format as the previous season of eight episodes, likely with two episodes per holiday. While Carrell bowed at the end of Season 1, new faces set to appear include Steven Pasquale, Julia Lester and Ashlyn Maddox.
When does it release?
The Four Seasons season two premieres globally on Netflix on May 28, 2026, with all eight episodes expected to drop at once.
