Foodies Won’t Want To Miss This Exclusive Wine Dinner

January might be a quieter month for wining and dining, but February? Well, that’s a different matter entirely. As the end of winter draws closer, we’re more than ready to dive back into the foodie scene. And this February, there’s one event we’re already bookmarking: The NOIR Dinner by Devil’s Corner.
In Partnership With Devil's Corner

The backstory
Dry January is behind us, and if you’re a wine fan, then chances are you’ve heard of Devil’s Corner. Now, for the uninitiated, these winemakers hail from a celebrated Tasmanian estate named after a treacherous bend in the river near its vineyard. Their forté? Cool climate wines.
As for The Black Lamb, the Wimbledon haunt is famous for celebrating seasonal British produce in dishes that bring the countryside to the city. And what do you get when you cross impeccable wine with stellar local ingredients? An unmissable dinner…
The unmissable dinner
On Thursday 13th February, discover the best of the brand’s wines in an exclusive dinner held at The Black Lamb. This intimate event, dubbed ‘The NOIR Dinner’, features a bespoke wine pairing menu for foodies and wine lovers alike.
Hosted by winemaker Joel Tilbrook, guests will be guided through eight carefully crafted wines, ranging from premium cuvées to pinot noirs, perfectly paired with dishes curated by the Gladwin Brothers – the same siblings behind foodie hotspots The Pig’s Ear, Rabbit, The Shed, and Sussex – for this one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

The seasonal menu
Enjoy a decidedly wintery menu with highlights including Scottish king scallop winter truffle risotto, Lyons Hill Farm beef rump with mushroom, shallots and barley, and a mushroom Marmite eclair, served with egg confit and cornichons – to name a few.

As for the drinks pairing, guests will be guided through each course by Head of Winemaking at Devil’s Corner, Joel Tilbrook, who will offer insight into Tasmania’s unique wine scene, the process from grape to glass, along with the flavour profile of each variety.
