An Elvis Presley Hologram Concert Is Coming To London
We’re not sure who decided the 2020s was when Elvis Presley would storm back into the spotlight some 50+ years after his heyday, but we now have an AI show, Elvis Evolution, coming to London in late 2024.
The show comes from Layered Reality, the UK company which specialises in immersive experiences, and utilises AI and holographic projection, similar to the wildly popular Abba Voyage experience. It will premiere in London with shows also planned in Las Vegas (obviously) Berlin and Tokyo.
What will the concert look like?
Using AI technology to create a life-sized digital version of Elvis, through thousands of photos, concert tapes and home videos. During his career he never performed outside of the US, so this will, in part, be the first opportunity for the UK to see a live Elvis concert.
The show will also offer an after-party Elvis-themed bar and restaurant on site at the central London location, with live music, DJs and performances. Tickets go on sale later this year.
The music icon has been subject to two films in recent years, with the Baz Luhrmann directed biopic Elvis garnering multiple Oscar nominations. Priscilla, directed by Sofia Coppola, hits UK cinemas this year, and tells the story of his wife Priscilla Presley, and their tumultuous relationship.
