Halloween is just around the corner and with it brings a host of freaky festivities across London to spook ourselves silly. When we’re not busy watching our favourite Halloween films or attending an epic Halloween bash, we’ll be popping into the London bars brewing up haunting food, from Halloween cocktails to devilish desserts, to stick our fangs into. From creepy concoctions to spooky sweet treats, this is the Halloween food and drink you need on your radar.

STK Strand

For Halloween weekend at STK, prepare for spine-tingling entertainment, wicked dancers, Patrón cocktails, and signature dishes crafted to chill. Celebrate with limited-edition cocktails crafted with the finest Patrón Tequila, including the Undead Elixir and Potion à la Patrón. For dessert, the Black Forest Graveyard offers a hauntingly rich mix of chocolate ganache, mascarpone mousse, and raspberry.

The Ivy Collection

From 25th October, The Ivy Collection restaurants will be serving up a wickedly delicious dessert. The Emerald City Apple is a chilled apple parfait perched on a golden blondie bed with milk foam, accompanied by a raspberry coulis. Complete with a green witch’s hand and a cloud of candy floss, the dessert is an indulgent treat this Halloween.

The Emerald City Apple will be available in all The Ivy Collection restaurants from 25th October to 2nd November, while The Original Ivy (West Street, London) will serve The Emerald City Apple on October 31st only.

Hexmoor

If you’re into taking Halloween seriously, a visit to the newly opened Hexmoor sounds like just the thing. This wizarding prison-themed immersive cocktail bar is getting extra spooky this Halloween with notorious dark arts wizards roaming their cells, and magical special effects creating a seriously cool vibe. The cutest Halloween treats out there, Peggy Porschen is the pinkest haunted house in town this Halloween. We’re a bit obsessed with this years Peggy’s classic chocolate heaven cupcakes, updated for the season with a cheeky little sugar ghost character, a mini meringue kiss and sprinkles. Brasserie of Light

Brasserie of Light has transformed into Brasserie of Fright this year with a special menu, spooky desserts and cocktails, plus two immersive nights of entertainment, which are going with the Phantom of the Opera theme.

Available till 2nd November, the themed specials include a creamy dark chocolate torte, topped with pistachio feuilletine, raspberry sauce and rose petals, complete with a white chocolate mask from the Phantom himself.

Swingers

Swingers West End is serving up a selection of limited-edition cocktails for Halloween. Fulham Pier has a great selection of themed eats that can take you from pizza at Slice & Dice to toffee apple crumble, toffee apples and Halloween biscuits at Dessert Cart, a pumpkin-spiced smashed burger at Fat Pickle, Halloween cupcakes and pumpkin tarts at Kiss the Hippo.

The Hummingbird Bakery

This October, indulge in The Hummingbird Bakery’s sinister Halloween sweets and fantastically spooky designs. This year’s specials include the Bleeding Beauty Heart Cake with two layers of red velvet sponge, masked and finished with classic cream cheese frosting and topped with isomalt “glass shards” and red food colouring blood splatters.

Harry’s

Visit Harry’s this Halloween to try the Witches Cauldron dessert. An elaborate vanilla panna cotta with blackberries and hazelnut croccante, with a chocolate spiderweb and glowing green light, this one is one of those dishes that you just have to ‘gram.
