Celebrate Cinco de Mayo this weekend with one of Karla Zazueta x el Jimador recipes

Wondering how you can celebrate Cinco de Mayo without the hefty plane fare? Award-winning el Jimador Blanco tequila has partnered with Mexican food influencer and supper club chef, Karla Zazueta (@mexicanfoodmemories) to create the five delicious recipes that celebrate the national Mexican holiday.

The ‘Palomas Y Platos’ recipe collection is made up of five mouth-watering small plates, all of which pair perfectly with the signature grapefruit flavour notes of the No.1 cocktail in Mexico – the Paloma.

Karla’s signature flare has been encapsulated in each recipe, offering something for veggies, vegans and meat eaters to make at home this Cinco de Mayo. Choose from the likes of the ancho chilli and tequila chicken tacos, which are infused with tequila or go veggie with the hot and smoky chipotle chestnut mushroom tostada. Or, simply learn how to perfect the Mexican staple, guacamole with Karla’s simple steps. The perfect dinner party sharing dishes, these all pair beautifully with el Jimador tequila, which makes an ideal base for a refreshing Paloma.

We’ve got one of the recipes for you to whip up at home here… If you make the recipe, share on social using the hashtags #cincodemayo and #eljimador
