Sunnier days, longer nights and alfresco concerts can only mean one thing: summer is here! If you’re looking for ways to pack out your summer calendar, look no further than Live at The Palace, a brand-new series of concerts taking over Fulham Palace, and the line-up looks epic.

Live at The Palace, presented by Robomagic, will bring huge music legends and rising stars to the historic palace on two weekends in May and July. There’s a night for everyone, whether you’re looking for dance anthems to bust a move to or catchy melodies to sing along to. 

Independent promoter Robomagic has never been defined by genres and this line-up of events is an ode to their love of variety. Read on to find out big names landing at Live at The Palace this summer…

Saturday 27th May 

If you’re a fan of old-school dance music, this May event is the ultimate way to party out the last bank holiday weekend. Ministry of Sound Classical will be taking over the palace on Saturday 27th, offering a Ministry of Sound take on a classic orchestral performance. 

On stage expect an epic 32-piece orchestra performing iconic dance anthems all night long, all completely rearranged and reinterpreted for the 2020s. Special guests include The Shapeshifters known for their soulful and melodious hits; UK music scene stalwart Tall Paul; Wrexham’s finest house DJs K-Klass; and DJ, producer and remixer legend Seamus Haji. 

This is the type of event that’ll have you dancing from the moment it starts to the last crescendo.

Sunday 28th May

On Sunday 28th, Groove Armasa will be taking over for an electrifying Sunday night performance, and you bet they’ll be pumping out their megahits including ‘Superstylin’ and ‘I See You Baby’. 

Joining them for special DJ sets will be house music legend Dave Lee ZR whose been making waves since the late 1980s; music pioneer Ashley Beedle who has been putting out instant hits since the early 1990s; London’s very own electro-pop performer Lou Hayter; and Raw Silk, an ode to best pals Grace and Steph’s favourite 80s boogie groups.

Friday 28th July

Live at The Palace returns for the last weekend in July too, bringing three nights of banging hits, reggae music and hit-filled sets. It’ll kick off on Friday 28th with OMD, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, who’ll be headlining the night. Expect all of their dance favourites including ‘Enola Gay’ and ‘Electricity’ to be making the crowd go wild. 

Joining OMD will be Ladyton’s classic synth-pop hits; chart-topping electronic pop act Blancmange; and DJ Rusty Egan who’ll make sure those club night memories will come flooding back.

Saturday 29th July

For those after a more pop-influenced and soulful set, book yourself in for Live at the Palace’s Saturday 29th night that will see British music icon Emeli Sandé headlining. The 4 Brit Award winner will return to the stage with her beautiful vocals and multi-layered lyrics. 

Special guests joining Emeli include singer-songwriter Sinéad Harnett performing from her albums Lessons in Love and Ready is Always Too Late, and Lady Blackbird who’ll bring soulful ballads to the Palace.

Sunday 30th July

Join the likes of UB40 feat. Ali Campbell and his incredible nine-piece band as they headline Live at The Palace’s final night. Bringing the reggae waves to Fulham Palace, their set featuring Ali will be one to remember. 

Alongside them will be one of Britain’s best-loved reggae bands Aswad. As well as Janet Kay, known for her chart-topping song ‘Silly Games’ and Carroll Thompson, loved for her hits ‘I’m So Sorry’, who will come together for a performance from Queens of Lovers Rock. Black Slate will also be bringing a tidal wave of reggae force to the stage alongside British dancehall Reggae Roast. It doesn’t get much better than this.
