You’ll probably remember the haunting global headlines back in 2017, when Inventive Productions opened the first Alcotraz experience in Brick Lane, offering Londoner’s a thrilling new night out extravaganza. Fast forward to October 2019 and the city will be home to a new prison cell, only this time you’ll find a cheeky speakeasy nuzzled inside. But act fast because it’s only sticking around for three months.

Hidden underneath the footsteps of Covent Garden, Alcotraz Penitentiary: Cell Block Six Eight will be unlocking its doors, revealing a secret basement speakeasy. Prepare to channel your inner criminal as you try to smuggle liquor past The Warden (I guess it’s no different to when you smuggled tinnies into the club back at uni) and into the hands of some of Alcotraz’s longest-serving inmates.
