As soon as the 1st of November hit, we knew we were on the countdown to Christmas! And, it also means there’s a whole lotta Christmassy happenings in the lead up to the big day now. So here’s to a month of festive wreath making, Christmassy cocktails, sensational wine dinners and a sprinkling of pop-up Champagne bars.
Hotel Café Royal
Things are getting a little Christmassy over at Hotel Café Royal and we couldn’t be more for it! Working in partnership with diptyque Paris, Hotel Café Royal will be bringing a giant advent calendar and pop-up shop, a luxury afternoon tea with your very own take-home candle, and wreath making and table decoration workshops for all to enjoy.
It’s not everyday you find a giant advent calendar plopped in a hotel lobby, let alone one with a diptyque pop-up shop below! Browse the Christmassy collection – the gifts are perfect for stocking fillers. Alongside the festivities will be wreath making workshops, led by the hotel’s in-house florist, helping you make your own wreath and personalise with scented diptyque ovals adding the cutest finishing touch!
The pop-up shop opens Thursday 14th November & will be open every Friday and Sunday until 21st December. While the wreath-making workshops run 25th November & 2nd December

Veuve Clicquot x St. Vincent: Champagne Bar Pop-Up
Bringing her lyrical expertise creativity across the pond, St. Vincent is set to be launching an all new Champagne bar with a difference. Yep, it’s a little odd but when there’s Champagne involved, you know we’ll be there. This part speakeasy, part sensory space will be embracing all of the celebratory pleasures of enjoying a simple glass of Veuve Clicquot. Collaborating with the award-winning singer-songwriter will be a set of creators, designers and mixologists, helping to bring her slightly surreal vision to life.
