Between work life and home life there’s very little time to add some ‘me-time’ to your weekly schedule. So, we’re on a campaign to help you reclaim your lunch break, whether that’s actually taking lunch, going for a walk or, our favourite, getting one of London’s top quick-fix, hard-working beauty treatments. From the hair saviour that will make your tresses as shiny as glass to the A-lister facialist whose 30-minute treatment could give you Hollywood-worthy skin, here are eight treatments that will get you back to the office as a new person. It’s also worth mentioning botox and fillers can be done in under an hour, but we’ll let you decide whether you take the plunge on that one…
Dual action results in lightspeed time? Yes please. CACI’s Hydrotone facial is an insanely speedy 30 minute express treatment that delivers LED skin rejuvenation at the same time as microcurrent facial toning. Innovative technical rollers are worked over the top of CACI’s silicone gel Hydro Mask for intense hydration that, in turn, restores skin firmness. All in the utterly opulent surrounds of Lisa Franklin’s luxury Knightsbridge skin sanctuary. With no downtime this is a treatment that you can fit into your lunch hour with time left for a leisurely browse back to the office.

If you’ve heard of Olaplex and its shine-giving goodness, this is another hair treatment that should be on your radar. A hair treatment doesn’t sound much like an indulgence, but these new, advanced technologies are well worth the money – about £50 – if your tresses are in need of a serious shine MOT. You can have the treatment alone or mixed into your colour (although a lunchtime slot isn’t going to work for that). It basically bonds and strengthens the hair to minimise any potential damage from colour, heat, pollution, etc. Hair will feel stronger, softer and look like glass – we promise.
The time: 20 minutes + blow-dry time to set it.

We’re sure there are plenty of places that do quick fix pedis, but this is the salon of choice for one Meghan Markle. So you know your hands and feet are going to be in, well, good hands.

Whether you want to tone up your tummy or get a little helping hand tightening up your face without injectables, this revolutionary treatment is one to bookmark. The NuEra Tight, a non-invasive skin tightening solution which
uses radio frequency to create a completely personalised and targeted treatment for your
individual needs and can be used just about anywhere, from the tummy to the face and neck, even your bum.
Using radiofrequency, the machine uses temperature-controlled energy to penetrate deep into the tissue which then helps everything from tackling cellulite to promoting collagen, aid fat-reducing and help to tighten facial skin. There are five different frequencies that it works on, meaning the machine can cleverly heat a specific skin and tissue layer, catering a bespoke result.
Don’t be alarmed by the word heat. The treatment is actually quite soothing and feels no nipper than a hot stone massage. In fact, it’s a pretty relaxing way to spend your lunch hour. Treatments take between 15 and 30 minutes and there’s no downtime – you might just have to avoid wearing makeup or fake tan for a day or two. We trialed it on the face and saw immediate results, with a tighter and smoother finish, but multiple treatments are recommended for longer lasting results.

Pulse Light Clinic
Sick of shaving or still wince at your monthly wax? Laser hair removal might be the option for you and each session can be done in minutes. Pulse Light Clinic are experts in fighting the fuzz and their treatments are suitable for all skin types and areas. Using sate of the art Gentlemax Pro by Syneron Candela machines, the treatment uses laser light pulses to selectively destroy hair follicles by targeting the melanin (colour) in them. The pigment in the hair follicle absorbs the laser’s light pulse, which damages the follicle enough to significantly retard hair regrowth. The laser delivers an intense beam of light, which is absorbed by the hair follicle whilst the surrounding tissue remains unaffected. Clever. The treatment can also reduce ingrown hairs, help pigmentation and generally give you skin smoother than a Kardashian’s bottom. Laser hair removal starts from 15 minutes for a small area and there is no downtime. Multiple treatments are required but think of the savings you’ll make long term.

If you’re looking for a non-surgical treatment to reduce stubborn fat, CoolSculpting is worth looking in to, more info on it here. It doesn’t come cheap but it’s clinically proven to work and the before and after images are seriously impressive. Here’s the science: CoolSculpting works by cooling targeted fat cells in the body to induce a natural, controlled elimination of them without affecting surrounding tissue, and the treated fat cells are gone for good. Probably not as chill as a lunchtime Pret pitstop but definitely more effective. The treatment can be used on the chin, upper and lower abdomen, male chest, bra and back fat, flanks, inner and outer thighs, knees and calves and results can be seen in as little as one treatment.
The time: from 30 minutes
The damage: from £350 per session. Consultation is needed prior to treatment.
