Situated amongst the greenery of Richmond, The Petersham Restaurant is offering up a seasonal extravaganza this Mother’s Day. The menu, headed up by Chef Jean-Didier Gouges, will allow guests to feast on dishes such as crab and quinoa salad, yuzu dressing, pickled ginger and keta caviar and pan-fried cod with crab tortellini, samphire, fried leeks, crispy capers and avocado puree. The setting is oh, so sweet – much like the desserts featuring chocolate forest gateau, cherry and rum sorbet and sticky toffee pudding.

The LaLiT London has a High Chai afternoon tea with a sexy, spicy, Indian twist. Executive Chef, Santosh Shah has partnered with former Great British Bake-Off contestant Rav Bansal that will promote funky flavours, botanical cocktails menus and all the trimmings to impress Mum. Also on a mission to keep Mum sweet this Mother’s Day is The Montague on the Gardens, who are sticking to their namesake and going green with their afternoon tea that overlooks peaceful gardens so, mum, no more screaming kiddies! You’ll probably make Mum’s day just by saying “we’re going to The Savoy,” as the stalwart and insatiably glamorous venue that it is, but if she’s still not swept off her feet by the uttering then perhaps what’s on offer will do the job.
