The weekend is here! Before we go completely into Christmas mode there is still time for some other events beginning with c: Cuban cocktails, cheese and crab brunches. And it’s Thanksgiving today, so if you still haven’t made your plans then check out our ideas here:
The Ultimate Hanger-Over Cure
This could be the best hangover cure or hangover starter: bottomless brunch at Fulham’s Hanger & Cellar. Served each Saturday, the brunch includes cured trout royale, rainbow chard Florentine and steak and eggs with potato rosti. You could go for coffee and juice, or you know you could go for belinis, mimosas or Bloody Marys all of which are free-flowing. Ideal.
Saturday 25th November and then every Saturday
Ready for something crabulous? Fish Market have collaborated with street food stall Crabbieshack to create a series of softshell crab inspired dishes which are being served as part of Saturday brunch. Dishes include a lobster grilled cheese toastie, the hero soft shell crab burger with old bay batter, pickled cucumbers and wasabi mayonnaise and the crab benedict. Sides are pretty impressive too: clam chowder with crispy bacon and crab fries topped with white crab meat, samphire and Crabbiesauce.
Saturday 23rd November and then every Saturday until 23rd December

Mochi Balls For Thanksgiving
To all our American readers, Happy Thanksgiving! Being this side of the ‘pond’ means that Thanksgiving is pretty much overlooked in the Christmas rush (depressingly we still have managed to import Black Friday…) but someone remembered at least, Little Moons have launched a limited edition pumpkin pie flavoured mochi balls. If you’ve not had mochi balls before it’s one of those rare occasions where you try something genuinely different, and the pumpkin pie balls are delicious and available in Whole Foods. Sorry to US expats that it’s not Turkey, but possibly second best?
Available today and throughout December
