I’ve always loved a car boot sale. My Grandad is a bit of a collector so growing up I spent most of my Sunday mornings waking up at the crack of dawn, traipsing to the local one to spot a good find. My reward was always a bag full of warm, sugary donuts from the little van trader so I didn’t mind. But now, years later I still love wandering around them and hunting for second-hand treasures.

If you too have an infatuation with the British pastime and want to know where to find the best car boot sale in London, there are loads right here in the city for weekend (and sometimes midweek) trading. Expect to find everything from household goods to garden tools and children’s toys to bric-a-brac.

Whether you’re having a clear-out or fancy filling up your home with second-hand trinkets, here are the best car boot sales in London worth venturing to.
