Summer beauty & tanning
How do you prep your skin pre-tan—and how do you make it last?
The best skin prep is to shave, exfoliate and moisturise, but I think the secret is to let that moisturiser sink into the skin for at least an hour before you go in with your tan. That way, your skin is super hydrated, but the tan won’t slide around as much!
Is there a secret glow-up hack you swear by before a beach day or event?
I absolutely love instant tan. It just gives you such an even colour and a boost to your tan, it often has a glow in it too, so it’s just the best finishing touch for an event or day out.
What’s in your “emergency summer beauty kit” at all times?
A lip balm or gloss is always top of my list. My Adored By Dew Boost Lip Gloss in Luckiest gives the best mixture of those two formulations in one! Always SPF 50 for the face, I love the Byoma one. Finally, a good mascara, as even on no make-up days, I’ll always apply some mascara just to open my eyes and make me look a bit more awake and put together. My favourite is Benefit Bad Gal Bang.
What inspired you to create a tanning line?
I could never find a tan that worked for me, I wanted a natural but deep colour, something with a nice scent and most of all a clean product that didn’t break you out. It was an amazing journey to create those products and see them do as well as they did.
Are you a mousse, mist, or gradual tan girl—and why?
I’m a mousse for the body, mist for the face kinda girl. I love using mousse for the body because I find it gives a slightly deeper result. You can also layer up if you want to. Mist is nice and light and refreshing for the face and gives a more natural finish.
Biggest tanning disaster you’ve ever had? (No judgment!)
When I was in school, I would go and buy the cheapest, most orange tan I could find. I just wanted to be as tanned as possible. As you can imagine, that meant there were some serious disasters. Bright orange hands, patches, you name it!

Travel beauty & packing staples

You’re packing light—what three beauty products are non-negotiables in your carry-on?
My Adored By Dew Boost Lip Gloss in Luckiest (again!), a good serum or moisturiser that you can reapply on the plane, I love the Medicube Pink Serum at the moment. Then probably a hand cream, Jo Malone is my favourite.
Any genius travel beauty hacks you’ve picked up from being constantly on the go?
Taking my tanning water on the plane, applying it as you take off and landing bronzed and glowy just in time for your holiday!
Do you have a summer fragrance?
My favourite is Aqua Di Parma Magnoli Infinita.
What’s your go-to airport outfit formula—comfy but still chic?
Oh, definitely comfort, an Adanola fit is usually my go-to.

Style, Beauty & Daily Glam
What’s your signature makeup look right now—something you’re loving for day or night?
At the moment, I love to do a natural base with a nice bronze and contour, peachy blush, which both the Adored By Buttery Bronze and Balmy Blush are perfect for, topped off with some natural eye make-up. If I am going out, I would add a bit more definition to the eyes and sometimes a corner lash.
You’ve got 5 minutes to get ready—what’s your makeup routine?
A glowy skin tint or SPF, a little concealer for extra coverage in the areas that need it, then my Adored By Buttery Bronze stick, a little brow gel and mascara followed by my Adored By Lucky Lip Trio which includes my three hero lip products; Lip Shape Liner in Lucky and Dew Boost Lip Gloss.

How would you describe your summer beauty vibe in three words?
Natural, glowy and pretty!
Who’s your ultimate beauty or fashion icon when it comes to summer style?
I take a lot of inspiration from Instagram and Pinterest as well as following trends if I like them. I wouldn’t say I have one particular icon. It changes a lot!
Do you follow trends, or do your own thing?
I mainly do my own thing because I know how quickly trends can change. But if I love a trend, I will definitely jump on it whilst staying true to myself, so if it’s not for me, I won’t. I’ve been trying faux freckles lately, and I know I’m very late to that trend, but I wasn’t sure for a while if it suited me. I tried it again lately and quite liked it.
Wellness, self-care & rituals
How do you look after your skin post-tan or post-sun?
Well, always SPF while I’m in the sun, and then I make sure to really hydrate my skin and drink loads of water post-sun. I love a good body oil; the Aveeno Skin Relief Body Oil is my current favourite.
Is there a beauty or wellness habit you’ve recently picked up and now swear by?
Korean skincare. I started trying it after seeing it all over TikTok and didn’t know if it was actually worth the hype, but it SO is. It’s changed my skin completely. Medicube is my favourite.
Are there any daily rituals you rely on to feel grounded and glowy—mentally or physically?
I try to move my body even if it’s just a walk. I try to train around 4/5 times a week but that can differ depending on my schedule. I’d say my biggest self-care ritual is spending a little bit of time getting ready, it genuinely changes my mood and mentality. I feel like I’m then ready to take on the day, if you feel good, you do good! That statement really resonates with me, and sometimes it can just be a quick shower, 5-minute make up and fresh tracksuit to do the trick.

And lastly, if your makeup bag could talk, what would it say about you?
Clean your brushes!
