The Halloween Event That’s On Our Radar This Year
Halloween is just around the corner, and London’s best bars and restaurants are all dressed up in their finest and spookiest avatars. There are mysterious cocktails and deadly desserts on menus everywhere, and while it can be hard to choose one spot for the perfect Halloween night out, we’ve got our eyes on Manzi’s Halloween-themed cabaret.
In Partnership With The Wolseley Hospitality Group
One of London’s best seafood restaurants, Manzi’s is transporting guests back to Soho’s Golden Age with its new cabaret residency that launches this Halloween. Expect all the glamour of the 1970s and 80s, at this month-long programme featuring some of London’s finest performers, selected by cabaret legend Betsy Rose. Kicking off on 31st October with Black Cat Cabaret, you can look forward to the event bringing some Halloween chills to the evening, with dark and daring performances that are bound to have more than a few spine-chilling moments – a word of warning, this is not your average cabaret night.
Halloween isn’t the only time you’ll get to witness this cabaret spectacle though. After the 31st, Betsy Rose, the UK’s number one burlesque performer, will be hosting her favourite cabaret stars every week. Upstairs at Manzi’s, located on the first floor of the Soho restaurant, there will be performances from Didi Derriere, Karla Bears and Snookie Mono.
Expect performances by Didi Derriere, Karla Bears and Snookie Mono, all fabulous cabaret performers.
And while we could go on about the cabaret – this is one night where you can expect your dinner to be just as glorious as the entertainment. Manzi’s never disappoints when it comes to serving up a sparkling menu. Seafood lovers of course will not be disappointed – look forward to a la carte dishes like Jersey rock oysters with mignonette sauce, sardine bruschetta with tomato and red onion and dressed Dorset crab with brown crab mayonnaise to start. For mains, there’s chicken Milanese with pasta pomodoro, Manzi’s fish and chips as well as Bateman’s lobster roll and fries with Thousand Island dressing. To finish, look forward to a vanilla-baked cheesecake, pana cotta with cherries or hokey pokey and honey gelato.
The cocktails look fabulous too – Manzi’s signature drinks will be served alongside your meal including Sunset’s Song (Tanqueray Gin, Ketel One vodka, cocchi americano and samphire, The Dove (reposado tequila, oloroso, elderflower liqueur, lime juice, pink grapefruit soda and seaweed) and Cordelia’s Martini (no.3 gin, champagne and oyster vermouth, fino sherry, sea mist, and champagne sorbet). From excellent food and drink to fabulous entertainment, this Halloween special has all the makings of a great night out in London, so book your spot now, and start getting that Halloween look ready.
