This Autumn Festival Is A Must Visit In London

One of the highlights of Autumn in London is back, as Mount Street Neighbourhood welcomes back its Arts Festival, a week-long celebration of creativity, culture and community in the heart of Mayfair.
In Partnership With Mount Street Festival
About the festival
Returning this October from the 13th to the 18th for its second edition, the festival once again coincides with two major highlights of London’s cultural calendar: Frieze London and PAD London. Across the neighbourhood, experience a thoughtfully curated programme spanning visual art, literature, fashion and food, all brought to life by some of today’s most compelling artists, designers and cultural voices.
This year’s festival places a special emphasis on the power of the written word, with a series of readings, talks and artistic encounters that explore the intersections between art and literature.
Begin your journey at 95 Mount Street, the festival hub, where you can check in, pick up your bespoke illustrated passport, and explore a full programme of events — all designed to guide you through the neighbourhood and invite discovery at every turn.

A very special pop-up
From Monday 13 to Saturday 18 October, discover a special pop-up from Fitzcarraldo Editions, the award-winning independent publisher celebrated for its bold contemporary fiction and long-form essays. This small company has been one of the most uplifting success stories of recent times, and now houses Nobel Prize-winning authors like Olga Tokarczuk, Annie Ernaux and Jon Fosse.
At 95 Mount Street, explore limited-edition books, exclusive merchandise and attend intimate talks with writers and creatives, alongside a curated reading space where you can linger over the publisher’s titles over coffee.
I first discovered Fitzcarraldo through Annie Ernaux’s The Years, and since then it has introduced me to a world of amazing authors and writing
Explore this acclaimed artist
Designer and artist Walid al Damirji brings his acclaimed label By Walid to Mount Street, presenting a poetic vision of sustainability through craftsmanship.
Known for creating beauty from the overlooked and discarded, al Damirji showcases a collection of one-of-a-kind homeware, sculpture, and garments, meticulously crafted from historic textiles. From 17th-century Flemish tapestries to 19th-century opera gloves, antique embroideries and silks, each piece is carefully restored and hand-stitched, transforming fragments of the past into richly textured works of art.
Nordic Knots
From Monday 13 October, Scandinavian design brand Nordic Knots launches a six-month residency at 130 Mount Street, reimagining the London pied-à-terre through a considered blend of textiles, home décor, bespoke furniture, and curated artworks, including the debut of new bedding and interior collections.
The Book Club launch
BAFTA and Olivier-nominated actor Omari Douglas will host the first-ever Mount Street Book Club at The Mayfair Library, with a special focus on James Baldwin’s seminal novel, Another Country. The evening will weave together performance, panel discussion, and open conversation, exploring the enduring power, politics and poetry of Baldwin’s work.
Experience Mount Street neighbourhood beyond the festival
Even beyond the festival, fashion, art, food, design and literature converge in one of London’s most distinctive destinations. Whether you’re here for one event or exploring across the week, the Arts Festival is your invitation to discover Mayfair’s creative spirit in new and inspiring ways.

To eat & drink
Thankfully, there’s no shortage of restaurants for you to refuel and recharge in after a day exploring the arts festival or shopping. In fact, Mount Street has one of the most diverse and innovative collections of restaurants in the city, and is a foodie destination by itself. From iconic bucket-list spots like Scott’s and The Connaught to Michelin-starred gems like Jamavar and arty hotspots like Mount St. Restaurant and Nipotina, there’s an endless selection.
Jamavar is a great spot for Indian fine-dining when you want to dress up and dig in. The Old Delhi butter chicken is my favourite – creamy with a touch of fenugreek that’s really the secret to a great butter chicken
