The Handbook Fashion Team’s New Season Fashion Picks
Fashion Month is upon us, and in the spirit of all things style, The Handbook team shares their new season fashion picks for Autumn/Winter 26. From the perfect trench coat to a wish-list designer handbag, and boots to embrace the chillier weather, here’s what we’ve been eyeing up.

Massimo Dutti mules: “I just bought these shoes, and I can already tell I’m going to get so much wear out of them. The pointed toe makes any outfit feel a bit more polished, but they’re also flat, so I can wear them all day while running around town without my feet aching.”
Karen Millen funnel neck trench: “Come autumn, I absolutely live in my trench coats. I haven’t been tempted by the cropped style so far, but this number, with its exaggerated collar, is making me seriously reconsider.”
Toteme bag: “I’m on the lookout for a new work bag, and this crocodile-effect number is incredible. I love that it really is the whole outfit – wear it with classic jeans and a plain tee, and the bag does the rest. TBC if it could fit my laptop, though…”

Massimo Dutti pants: “I have a couple of pairs of trousers in this shape, and I find them so flattering – especially the length – given I’m not the tallest of gals. The muddy shade feels really autumnal, and I’m imagining it with a cosy grey knit, colour pop socks and a good chunky loafer.”
H&M boots: “I don’t tend to wear heels in the summer, so I’m excited to feel a bit more polished now the weather’s taking a turn. These buttery suede boots will look great tucked into a pair of jeans.”
Sézane coat: “A trench coat feels appropriate for this time of year, but I’m much preferring the kind of car coat silhouette over the classic belted shape – it just feels a bit more modern and cool. Check prints are going to be everywhere in outerwear this season (but feel timeless enough to invest in), and Sézane’s is pretty much perfection.

M&S jacket: “At this time of year, I am all about light jackets, ones that hold their own on colder mornings without becoming a burden to carry once the afternoon inevitably warms up. Right now I’m obsessed with the frog-fastening trend, and this one from M&S is a genuine steal at £46. The soft charcoal shade goes with everything, and the texture gives it a look far more expensive than the price tag suggests.
Reformation skirt: “Come autumn, my go-to formula is boots, a midi skirt, and a cropped jacket, with no further thought required. This Reformation skirt has been high on my list for a while; I love the colour paired with navy or olive green, and the length is exactly right to sit over kitten heels or a pair of tall boots.”
Paloma Wool sweater: “Paloma Wool lives rent-free in my mind, and I’ve been on the hunt for a navy sweater versatile enough to see me through the whole season. I want to throw it on with trousers, jeans, or a maxi skirt. This one has an asymmetric shoulder detail that lifts it beyond basic, while still feeling like the kind of piece you reach for without thinking.”
