With the skincare industry as bountiful and ever expanding as it is, it’s hard to know where to start when it comes to trialling out new brands. Is it worth the hype? Will you see results? Is it worth the ££? If you’re on the search for new brands and completely overwhelmed by the choice or you simply fancy mixing up your skin care regime in time for the new season ahead, read on to find out our ten new favourite skincare brands.

 IRAYE

Otherwise known by beauty editors as the lymphatic drainage boosting skincare. The lymphatic system – which is the network of vessels that move fluid through the body – is at the centre of this new skincare brand. Founded in 2020 by two pioneering lymphatic scientists, the products activate the lymphatic system, improve the skin’s radiance, and create a more sculpted appearance of the face. So, if you have a sluggish grey complexion that could do with a boost, this is a superb brand to invest in.

Goodhabit

Already a favourite stateside renowned for their high-quality naturals (like soothing blue tansy and youth-boosting spirulina) with science-backed synthetics (including super hydrating hyaluronic acid and niacinamide). The foundation of this brand is about being kind to your skin’s microbiome (yes, the skin has one as well as your gut!) Plus, all the products are free from alcohol, phthalates, animal-derived ingredients, petroleum, synthetic scents, colours, diluents, solvents, and stabilisers. Clean hardworking skincare at its best!

DORÉ

French author, blogger, and all-round style icon Garance Doré’s premier line of beauty must-haves focuses on minimising skin care routines whilst maximising results, creating a core regime from day to night. Formulated with skin barrier-repairing ingredients (like marine algae) that brighten and tone, it’s no wonder it’s been made to use night and day – trust us, you’ll want to.  If you’re tempted to give this brand a whirl, choose the All In One Daily Moisturiser for a massive hydration boost that has the most incredible glowing-effect on skin.

Cultured

Another microbiome skincare (we feel a trend coming on!) and created by Rob Calcraft, founder of Ren Clean Skincare, he quickly realised the importance of looking after your skin’s microbiome to achieving great looking skin. Each product tackles the underlying cause of skin concerns, rather than treating the symptoms, thanks to a sophisticated blend of prebiotics, postbiotics and ferments that optimise skin resilience and strength. If you tend to suffer from allergies or skin sensitivities, this will toughen up your skin barrier in no time.

Woah

Affordable beauty on the high-street has finally arrived. Developed by a leading UK skincare laboratory, Woah Skincare brings solution-based formulas making them affordable and accessible to all.  (Bravo!) Featuring ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, rose water, peptides and more across the entire spectrum of skincare products, including micellar water, eye creams and face masks. If you’re a natural bargain-hunter or quite simply what hard-working products to see you through to pay day, look no further.

Amor Sui

If you’re tempted to get on board the holistic healing bandwagon, this is a great starting point. This UK brand uses crystal infusions and Ayurvedic ingredients. Each of their products is carefully developed using a mix of modern and traditional sciences and practices, with the ingredients kept as natural as possible. For an instant refresh in the warm weather, try out the Radiance Mask that’s already a hit with Feedspot’s Top 100 Beauty Blogger and content creator, Jamie Rockers (@beautyrocksblog). It’s been developed to delve deep and really cleanse your pores, while also helping to brighten your skin and give you a nice glow. Suitable for all skin types, it’s made with a rich 98% natural formula and has Hyaluronic acid added into the formula. We were equally as impressed.

Hello Sunday

Whether it’s from beauty editors, makeup artists or even doctors, we’re constantly reminded about the importance of SPF and the damaging effects the sun can have on our skin. Which is why it’s vital to find an SPF formula that works for you. If you’re yet to find one that won’t lead you to having a serious break out or leave your skin feeling oily and heavy, Hello Sunday may be the answer. The European-approved skin care brand is also vegan friendly, lightweight, and durable, so you won’t be left feeling sticky or looking greasy, and the products have been designed for all skin types and tones. Our favourite is the That’s the One Serum Drops which are loaded with SPF45 and are equally as moisturising as they are protective.

Whind

For those wanting to achieve dewy skin, look to the new skin care brand on the block, Whind. Priding themselves on producing products that are ‘scientifically proven, yet seductively sensual’ and with just one whiff, transports you to sunnier climes. The star products are the Marrakech Light, a fast-absorbing antioxidant rich face oil that’s designed to leave you feeling sun-kissed and radiant and The Sahara Silk, a vanishing cream exfoliator that leaves skin with, you guessed it, a silky veil. One to watch!

 Fiils

Changing the way we wash, Fiils is a refill beauty company that’s helping to eradicate the overuse of plastics, one refill container at a time. With sustainability at the forefront, they’ve created a fully eco-friendly brand. Rather than using plastic bottles for their soaps, shampoos, and body washes, they use refill packaging that you can be topped up in your aluminium reusable bottle, as and when you wish. Their range is simple and made from 99% organic, natural ingredients. To save you some extra buck, they also have subscription packages which means you’ll never run out of your shower gel or hand wash again!

Jierra Beauty

Born out of the pandemic, this beauty brand has grown in strength and we predict big things given the success of their introductory products. The Superior Complexion Antioxidant Serum is an organic, multi-functional oil-based serum that’s designed for the face, but can also be used on the body, hair, and scalp too. Loaded with various vitamins and omegas, the serum will leave you feeling refreshed, rejuvenated and your skin will be enviably radiant.
