The Why and the Wherefore

Even skin tone – i.e. banishing dark spots – and skin clarity have somewhat pushed wrinkles aside to become a key concern in the beauty sphere. And I understand that. Seemingly almost overnight a couple of very noticeable dark spots appeared on my face. I’d never been bothered before about such things, but these were more noticeable than ever (ah, the joys of your 50s) and were what drew my gaze every time I looked in the mirror – even distracting me from my ’11’ forehead glabella lines. So I thought why not give this very light emulsion a chance.

How To Apply

Looks-wise this is very similar to liquid eyeliner packaging except the brush tip at the end of the wand is stiff so you can use it as a massage tool after application – though I prefer to use it to apply the emulsion and then rub it in with my fingertip. More than rub it actually, I really massage this in. You also need to be consistent and apply this after cleansing morning and evening.

The Final Result

This actually really impressed me. We’re not talking magic wands or time travel here. Please do keep your expectations realistic. So, no, my dark spots have not totally disappeared. But after constant use mine have decidedly lessened. The brands says you’ll notice a difference after 15 days but I think it’s after a month that you really find yourself saying ‘Wow, those pesky things have faded’. Certainly mine are lessened enough that they are no longer what instantly draws my attention in the mirror.

The Takeaway

like any great relationship you need to properly commit to this if you want to move forward. But good things lie ahead.
