From collegiate-inspired athleisure wear to bold waves of animal print, these are the hottest spring/summer 2025 trends hitting our fave high-street stores right now.

A new season allows us to reinvent, restyle, and reinvigorate our image. Plus, with the dawning of warmer weather, we can prepare for dopamine-inducing colours and fresher, lighter layers. What could be better? We’re talking sugar-coated pastel shades, comfy everyday sportswear, boho fringing and oodles of suede. SS25 fashion is already set to be a foray into feel-good vibes.

With high summer still tantalisingly out of reach, I’ve delved into the catwalk trends we can embrace now – grey skies or not. Animal print is, as ever, reigning strong. Cow and even the softer deer print are major contenders, but if you want to pack a punch, zebra is what to wear. Undoubtedly it looked cool at Rotate, but the high street has done us proud with an extensive selection of monochrome zebra pieces.

If you’re after a softer feel with a touch of ’70s rock ‘n’ roll—yes, please!—check out Isabel Marant and Chloé. Floaty fabrics and ruffles abound, but also baby pinks mixed with toffee-coloured suede. For now, snap up fluffy cotton candy knits at Cos, diaphanous skirts at & Other Stories and luxe suede iterations everywhere from Mango to Hush. Especially if the Prada suede jacket is not within budget.

Sporty or not, get ready to dress like you’re the track and field star you knew you were meant to be. Look to Off-White for inspo.

Perhaps because we’re consistently moving toward a healthier lifestyle, sportswear and high-tech fabrics also took centre stage on the catwalks. Ideal for the great British springtime, pretty parkas and technical jackets are fast becoming the cool girls’ outerwear of choice. Pair them with varsity-inspired athleisure numbers, and you’ve got your SS25 look nailed.

Whatever trend or trends you embrace, know that the high street has you covered. It feels like Topshop is again owning it in terms of affordable, of-the-moment style, while Arket and Cos are as cutting-edge as ever. Marks & Spencer continues to impress. Have you seen their college bomber jacket? Point made.
