The summer special, aptly named the Match Point Eton Mess, features a vanilla buttermilk sponge cupcake with strawberry purée and vanilla cream cheese frosting, fresh strawberries, a mini meringue kiss, a tennis ball and a Peggy pink tennis racket. Macaron specialists Ladurée have taken the humble strawberry dessert to new heights thanks to their summer incarnation of the classic fraisier. 

The traditional French dessert is available here and features a light hazelnut biscuit topped with strawberries and vanilla mousseline cream, all covered with red velvet, strawberry and chocolate flowers. It’s almost too pretty to eat.

Fruity and fresh, Searcys has added a naughty but oh-so-delicious Eton message pavlova to its menu. Renowned fish specialists, Bentley’s, has introduced a new special set menu offering for the summer season. Your evening will kick off with an Andalusian tomato gazpacho with grilled marinated squid, watermelon and jalapeńo followed by traditional fish and chips with mushy peas and tartare.

Trivet

Take tennis season up a notch and book yourself in for chef Jonny Lake and master sommelier Isa Bal’s Michelin-starred restaurant, Trivet. The newly launched al fresco lunch menu features a strawberry special too good to resist.
