Taylor Swift’s Iconic Outfits Are On Display In London This Summer
Just when you thought London couldn’t get enough of Taylor Swift – there is more! If you managed to attend the Eras Tour last month at Wembley (lucky you), and find yourself with a large Taylor Swift-shaped gap in your life, then this is the perfect fix.
The V&A South Kensington is hosting the Taylor Swift Songbook Trail, a brand new exhibition that celebrates Taylor Swift’s costumes, lyrics and music videos over the years. The trail features 13 (well, obviously) installations that chronicle her musical journey. Plus, there are items on loan from Swift’s personal archives – from the cowboy boots she wore as a country singer in 2007 to the black ruffled shoulder dress she wore in the video for Fortnight from her latest album The Tortured Poets Department.

The trail is completely free to view, and features 16 looks worn by the 14-time Grammy Award-winning artist, along with previously unseen material that explores her journey from small-town girl to global phenomenon. Designed to be a theatrical journey that marks the success of her UK tour and celebrates the creativity of her costumes and music, the Songbook Trail has 13 stops, each depicting a chapter of her incredible career. With the spotlight on her music and prolific songwriting, the exhibition is the perfect place to get a glimpse into Taylor Swift’s career beyond the obvious.

Apart from costumes, there will be instruments she’s played, music awards, and storyboards that trace her work and celebrate her immense contributions to the industry. Sounds like the ultimate Swiftie paradise!
