The Double Red Duke
Nestled in the heart of Clanfield, Oxfordshire, The Double Red Duke is a stylishly restored 17th-century coaching inn with rooms and a vibrant, Instagram-famous garden set-up. The hotel combines rustic charm with thoughtful design throughout individually styled bedrooms, cosy lounges with roaring fires and a restaurant/bar that champions seasonal, open-fire cooking and quality British produce. Cowley Manor
Ditch the noise and stress for a perfect weekend escape at Cowley Manor in the Cotswolds. The hotel itself has beautifully designed rooms and suites that are both comfy and stylish. The plush beds, fancy furnishings, and windows with views will make you want to stay in bed all day (don’t worry, no judgment here).
In case you want to take your relaxation elsewhere, the on-site C spa offers all sorts of treatments. From massages to refreshing dips in the indoor/outdoor pools, this spa has it all.
The décor of this country estate-turned-Cotswold classic is stunning, but its grounds are really something to swoon over. Sprawling greenery, a lake, and Grade II* park and gardens make it one of the most popular places to visit in the Cotswolds.

The Fish
This laid-back lodge is a Cotswolds’ favourite, and there’s a wealth of accommodations to choose from depending on what you’re after (and how deep your pockets are). Book into the stylish main rooms for the cheaper option, the shepherd’s huts for something unique, or the treehouse rooms for a staycation to outdo all staycations.
The vibe is cool, the interiors are Scandi-inspired, and they’ve found that perfect balance of romantic getaway for two, and somewhere you can take the kids.

If in doubt, the Farncombe estate offers the perfect Cotswolds getaway- with 3 epic hotels in one place. Dormy House and Foxhill Manor for fancy luxe, or The Fish for the more outdoorsy family adventurers. Located a country walk away from Broadway, this gives optionality and seclusion.

Calcot & Spa
Dip your toe in Calcot’s famous outdoor fireside jacuzzi before pampering yourself in the spa with Comfort Zone & CACI treatments. If food is more your thing, The Brasserie focuses on seasonal, fresh ingredients and uses the team’s Michelin-starred experience to take the dining to the next level. The Hive is a stylish café, lounge and cocktail bar perfect for nightcaps.
And while Calcot will earn you brownie points with your other half for a romantic weekend away, the hotel is really accommodating for children, too.

The Wild Rabbit
This one’s for foodies for sure. Set up by Queen of the Cotswolds, Carole Bamford, who also started the countryside behemoth that is Daylesford, The Wild Rabbit is a pubs-with-rooms fare. Tuck into delights such as Cured Loch Duart salmon and Daylesford côte de boeuf for two, before flopping into bed upstairs.

Soho Farmhouse
Outrageously overpriced and totally overexposed on the ‘gram, but it’s got to be done at least once. Soho House is set across 100 acres of land with endless facilities, meaning you don’t have to leave the hotel or get muddy – it’s probably the cleanest place in the Cotswolds.
Sleeping quarters come in the form of Hobbit-style huts – although they’re nice and spacious inside and come complete with outdoor metal tubs – and cosy Canadian-style cabins. There are also manmade lakes (photo ops), a Cowshed Spa (naturally, given that it’s Soho House), a pub and restaurant to make it feel like actual Soho House goes to the country, and bikes to get to and from them all on. Plus, a mini Berenjak.
It might be one of the most expensive places in the Cotswolds, but you will certainly have a good time.

The Lakes By Yoo
Kate Moss has designed some of the interiors at these luxury barn houses on the lake. I mean, it doesn’t really come much cooler than that.
The double-height properties are out of this world and look more like an A-lister’s home in LA rather than the Cotswolds. From the gallery wall on the stairway littered with cool imagery of rock stars to inspiring coffee table books, jewel-hued soft furnishings, and a kitchen so cool it may as well be a bar; this place screams Le Moss, and we guarantee you will not want to leave.

Rich with luxurious amenities, stunning views and packed out with endless activities everyone can enjoy, The Lakes By YOO is a peaceful sanctuary, perfectly tailored for families seeking a hidden escape.

The Pig in the Cotswolds
Gorgeous gardens, immaculate interiors, an indulgent spa and seriously good food. This is the perfect getaway for every occasion, from romantic stays in the garden suite to secret retreats for you and the girls.
This historic 17th-century Grade II listed manor house is the ideal luxury hotel and spa with grounds to walk, menus to try, and individually designed rooms to relax in.

The Feathered Nest Country Inn
Located in the picturesque village of Nether Westcote, The Feathered Nest has been carefully refurbished to preserve its period charm, while offering a touch of modern luxury; not to mention its stunning garden, which boasts unbeatable views across the Evenlode Valley.
In the bar’s cosy snug, expect to be greeted by a roaring wood burner and a broad range of modern and traditional cocktails (arguably the best in the Cotswolds). While in the kitchen, their emphasis on quality seasonal ingredients and traditional flavour combinations makes for the perfect menus. Whether it’s the 6-course Tasting Menu with a wine pairing or the Wild Boar Hot Dog at the bar, the idea is to offer the best of what’s in season.
Travelling from London? The mainline train is located a few miles away in the village of Kingham and is just over an hour’s train journey from London Paddington, making it the perfect weekend escape.

Thyme
From the Meadow Spa to the on-site Cookery School, if you’re a Londoner who gets itchy feet in the countryside after 24 hours, Thyme has plenty to keep you occupied. That is at a slow, Cotswolds’ speed of course.
The cosy pub-cum-boutique hotel takes food very seriously with a menu inspired and created prominently from the onsite farm and kitchen garden, and a cookery school that teaches guests to whizz up anything from simple suppers to perfect patisseries.
Genuinely one of the loveliest boutique hotels in the Cotswolds, if not the country, make sure Thyme is right at the top of that staycation list.

Dormy House
They call themselves “a bit like home, but better,” and we’d have to agree. The interiors are chicer, beds comfier and food tastier – ok, not that much like home then but somewhere we’d be happy to go away to for a weekend.
Perched high above the village of Broadway, the views are unrivalled, but we’d happily take the cosy corners and warm fireplaces of Dormy House’s interiors instead.
