What is The Great Christmas Feast?
For the uninitiated, this annual event is a one-of-a-kind retelling of A Christmas Carol. Immersive yourself in the magic of Charles Dickens’ timeless tale in an experience that transports you back to Victorian England – specifically, to Christmas Eve 1843.
Expect an evening that combines London’s best talent across theatre, music, mixology and gastronomy, creating a captivating carol experience that serves as a feast for all your senses.
The result is a captivating experience that serves as a feast for all your senses.
This year, the production quality is in a league of its own, headed up by acclaimed director Simon Pittman (of the Royal Shakespeare Company and National Theatre), and with Alex Phelps starring as narrator, Charles Dickens, following rave reviews in the leading role back in 2023.

The gourmet menu
We mentioned that the foodie offering is just as strong as the performances (a huge tick for us), so here’s what’s on the menu. Devised by Executive Chef, Ashley Clarke (or Gordon Ramsay Group, SmokeStak & Temper Soho), this night celebrates refined Victorian feasting. To start, tuck into a decadent pressing of corn-fed chicken served with pickled beets and samphire relish. Next, an elegant confit Gressingham duck breast with all the trimmings. As for dessert? You’ll look forward to a rich Twelfth Night Cake served with Christmas Pudding ice cream. Notably, vegetarian and vegan options are available, making it ideal for large group bookings.
As you enjoy the show, sip on one of the masterfully created cocktails, including the legendary Smoking Bishop and Pear Tree Cup, along with a number of new delights from the mysterious Rumfustian to the urbane Marley & Rye.
