Tramp Nightclub To Reopen Under New Owership

The gap in the London club scene created by the sudden closure of Tramp appears to have been short lived, as the Jermyn Street institution is set to reopen its doors in September after a changing of ownership.
In an interview with Tatler, hospitality tycoon Luca Maggiori revealed plans to relaunch the members club, aiming to keep traditions of the old institution while also bringing modern elements.

What will the Tramp relaunch look like?
Past members might be disappointed to learn they won’t be able to hold on to their cards, as a new committee and membership will be formed. With a new 5am license plan in place, it aims to position itself as the best last destination of the night in Mayfair. A new decor is in the works from Swedish design house Campbell-Rey.
The reopening comes soon after news of its sudden closure was announced in November. A haven for a-listers and royalty, Tramp prided itself on exclusivity and privacy, and has been at the forefront at fabled celeb gossip for the 54 years it has been open (Michael Caine met his wife there).
Keep your eyes peeled for more information about its September opening, and news on how to acquire one of its coveted membership slots.
