The Franklin Hotel

Set in an elegant Victorian building in the heart of London and surrounded by the beauty and lushness of Egerton Gardens, The Franklin hotel combines the warmth of a private home with the impeccable service of a luxury boutique hotel. Neighbour of Harrods and the Victoria & Albert Museum, such a unique hotel represents as well the prime example of Anouska Hempel’s timeless, Italian-influenced design.
The Franklin Restaurant by Alfredo Russo is a fine dining destination for local and international connoisseurs. This modern Italian restaurant is the domain of Michelin-starred Chef Alfredo Russo. Here guests can enjoy a breath-taking fine-dining experience, a combination of simplicity, sophistication and quality seasonal ingredients.
There is seating for just 30 diners, in an intimate space with a view of the garden. The familiar grey velvet decor, with silk ikat-patterned furnishings and immense Venetian églomisé mirrors, generates an exclusive, refined yet intimate feel.
The menu at The Franklin Restaurant reprises both Russo’s bold approach and his Piedmont roots, and is presented in classic Italian format. The result is an accessible yet sophisticated affair: flavours are daring and innovative. The result is a variety of well-balanced dishes, vibrant with flavour and illuminated by unexpected, sometimes even daring twists.
