Bar 190

Bar 190 is the iconic bar serving fiery cocktails, remarkable whiskies, delicious gins and an extensive list of spirits all in a setting with a history of its own. Original wooden paneling and lavish furnishings dominate the bar, and the walls, decorated with the images of the famous Rolling Stones album launch party, give off a distinct rock ‘n’ roll vibe.

Q&A

You might not know but..

Built as a serviced residence for visitors to London’s 1851 Great Exhibition, under the patronage of Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria, The Gore London was then established as a proper hotel in 1892, quickly becoming an iconic beacon of British hospitality. The Gore host the renowned Bar 190, which was witness to rock’n’roll history, as the location for the launch and photoshoot for The Rolling Stones’ 1968 album Beggars Banquet, whose decor pays tribute to this event. Iconic memorabilia from that night can still be admired, such as photos of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and the album’s gold record.
