Learn a new (healthy) skill
Ever wanted to make your own kimchi? Well look no further, as kimchi masters The Korean Pantry are coming to The Hoxton, Shoreditch to teach you how to do just that!
The workshop takes place on Sunday 24th November (following National Kimchi Day on the 22nd) where Korean Pantry founder Cindy will guide you through a hands-on class. You will be taught about the stages of kimchi making, from prepping and salting the veg to making your own fragrant kimchi paste and finally learning how to ferment and store your kimchi – and yes, you can take it home. See 80s Britain through new eyes
This exhibition traces the work of a diverse community of photographers, collectives and publications, creating radical responses to the turbulent Thatcher years.
At the time, photography was used as a tool for social change, political activism, and artistic and photographic experiments. See powerful images that gave voice and visibility to underrepresented groups in society set against the backdrop of race uprisings, the miner strikes, section 28, the AIDS pandemic and gentrification.

Pay respects at the Ever After Garden
Over the festive season each year, Grosvenor Square in the heart of Mayfair is lit up with over 30,000 illuminated white roses. Known as the Ever After Garden, where visitors can dedicate a rose in memory of a loved one whilst making a donation in support of The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
