There’s no denying that skirts are big news this season, but since the temps peaked, the style pack has been zoning in on the white skirt. In fact, I’d say it is the undisputed hero piece of SS26.
There’s nothing new about this summer essential, but this year, it is 100% dominating our social feeds. From soft linens to breezy cottons, fresh white skirts are the ultimate in easy, warm-weather styling. We’re seeing them styled with graphic tees, bandeau tops, and camis, paired with sandals, flip-flops, and woven pumps, but most importantly, we’ve noticed everyone from the laid-back bohemian to the clean-girl minimalist wearing them. I fall somewhere in between, with a strong lean towards the floaty, holiday vibe. Either way, that white maxi skirt is firmly in my summer wardrobe.
