To celebrate the release of Anderson’s new film, The French Dispatch, Accidentally Wes Anderson will be hosting a pop-up at the Old Bank Vault in Hackney. Running from 16th October – 7th November, the gallery is set to look as if it’s been plucked straight from the 1970s set film. Visitors will be invited to gaze at Accidentally Wes Anderson’s photos and tackle problem solving puzzles.

Cocktail lovers, listen in… Ham Yard Terrace has launched an exciting cocktail trolley in line with London Cocktail Week (or, should we say month). In collaboration with Two Keys mixers, the trolley will see a bartender arrive at your table with a bespoke portable drinks bar. You’ll be able to mix up and customise your perfect Paloma in a matter of seconds.
Create your perfect cocktails with a choice of Vivir tequila, Two Keys Pink Grapefruit soda, a syrup of your choice and top it off with a flavoured salt rim. Sip on your creation upon the leafy heated courtyard for an autumnal drink with a twist.

Comic book fans rejoice! MCM Comic Con, the ultimate celebration of popular and Europe’s leading Comic Con event, is returning this autumn with two exciting shows in London and Birmingham.
London’s event will be taking place at ExCel London, bringing with it a bumper packed schedule with celebrity guests, panel talks, independent creators and endless gaming fun. Relive your favourite film moments, connect with other comic book lovers or catch your favourite actor in the flesh, including Loki’s very own Tom Hiddleston who will have a meet and greet.
Battersea’s Affordable Art Fair returns with a mega line-up of emerging and established galleries, installations and entertainment.
Those on the hunt for some new art pieces can look forward to exploring the dedicated wall of artworks for £500 and under, while those looking to just gaze at beautiful works can explore the numerous installations taking place. Don’t miss the interactive installation, Fluid Form, by Violeta Mayo and Persiis Hajiyanni, which explores the power of water and reflects on the theme of solitude post-pandemic. Keep the kiddies entertained at their weekend family hour (Saturday and Sunday, 10-11am) packed with balloons and art.

Spoil your favourite four-legged friend this weekend and treat them to a dog-friendly brunch at Bluebird Chelsea. Available this Sunday 24th October, the popular Chelsea restaurant will become adorned with furry friends for their specially curated canine brunch menu.
Human friends can delight in brunch classics, including eggs Benedict; avocado on sourdough toast with spinach and green tomato salsa; and Brooklyn praline pancakes with blueberries and whipped cream, while pooches will be able to tuck into the likes of a puppacino, chicken and pumpkin, and a doggy doughnut for dessert.

Wine lovers gather around, Eataly is hosting an exciting Wine Week! Running until Sunday 24th, they have a whole host of wine-filled events and menus taking place, from the special wine menus available across all of the Eataly restaurants and bars to a Prosecco festival.
For the fizz lovers, the Prosecco Festival, running exclusively on Friday and Saturday, will see 14 top Prosecco producers from Italy come to share their knowledge and passion. Guests will be able to taste up to 30 different varieties, as well as explore the specially curated Italian street food selection throughout the store, with the help of a fun map ensuring the discovery of a treasure trove of different bottles. Tickets for the Prosecco Festival are sold out but they may be offering tickets on the door so it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re a bubbles fanatic.

The London Literature Festival has landed at Southbank Centre! Inspired by Sally Rooney’s debut novel, Conversations with Friends, this year’s theme draws on friendship, exploring what it means to be friends today and the joys and challenges it can cause.
The festival, taking place until Sunday 31st October, will see an array of authors, scientists, comedians and artists lead talks, workshops and masterclasses centred around the subject of friendship. Book in for poetry Out-Spoken Masterclass led by Raymond Antrobus or tune into the creative talk from 4 Brown Girls Who Write.
Welcome Wishes, a storytelling workshop on Swallow’s Kiss, an uplifting tale helping young readers understand the lives of refugee children, is well worth the visit too.

Don’t miss your chance to try out The Montagu Kitchen’s brand new set menu, available from just £28. The new menu, created by Roger Olsson, celebrates the best of modern British cuisine, inspired by seasonal produce and carefully sourced ingredients from local suppliers.
Tuck into dishes including the crispy rosette, using only the batter from a classic ‘fish and chip’ sprayed with malt vinegar and topped with trout roe and chives; ‘Mortar & Pestle’, a dish of steak tartare; and the Nero Scotch Egg, using Cornish squid and ink – a twist on the favourite snack.
We’re a sucker for an immersive experience, but 180 The Strand’s latest experience might have topped the lot. LUX: New Wave of Contemporary Art showcases 13 exciting large-scale installations, each aiming to ‘blur the lines between the physical and virtual worlds’ through audio-visual technologies.
Expect giant neon visuals to be presented before you, from artists including Je Baak, Cecilia Bengolea, Ed Devlin, iart and Carsten Nicolai. It’s really one that’s best explored in person to soak up the full effect.

Over at St Pancras Brasserie and Champagne Bar by Searcys, there’ll be an exclusive serve of the rare Le Clos Lanson 2006 and an intimate Lanson Champagne Dinner, hosted in the Tasting Room. Level up your weekend and tuck into this beautiful botanically themed afternoon tea. Available at 100 Queen’s Gate, the tea has been created in partnership with British perfumery brand, Floris London, to create a fun twist on the quintessential classic.
Their creative culinary team have worked their magic, working alongside the perfumery team to create dishes that nod to two of Floris’s signature scents, the ‘Cherry Blossom Eau de Parfum’ and ‘Limes Eau de Toilette’.
