Dine in style at Aviary London’s Igloos

Venture ten floors above the sky and catch golden hour in one of Aviary’s famous igloos. The outdoor terrace has had a sparkling new makeover, in partnership with Minuty Rosé, inspired by the French Riviera (which is perfect for those who’ve had their holiday plans cut short this year).

The igloos now boast fairy lights lining the windows, lavender plants and rose vines, and there’s also a brand new cocktail menu on offer too. Enjoy one last refreshing summer tipple – we’d recommend the St Tropez Spritzer – and look out over London’s twinkling skyline.

Explore Greenwich’s coolest art exhibition, Slice of Time

Explore the technicolour rainbow that’s returned to NOW Gallery this weekend.

Originally open for a limited period earlier this year but closed early due to the pandemic, Emmanuelle Moureaux’s exhibition Slices of Time has finally reopened, filling the gallery with multicoloured paper cutouts inspired by the vibrant shades of Tokyo. Each layer is said to represent the past, present and future, and individuals are encouraged to write down a significant date and express what makes it so special to them. It’ll become part of a timeline that’ll help create a kaleidoscope of colour.

Running until 27th September

What to watch this week: Mulan

The release of Disney’s live action Mulan has been up in the air for months. Originally slated to hit the big screen in March, it’s another blockbuster that falls under the category of postponement. Luckily rather than delaying the release for a whole year, Disney has decided to release the 2020 blockbuster on their new streaming site Disney+, but for an additional £19.99 on top of the monthly fee.

If you fancy joining Mulan (Liu Yifei) on her adventure to save her father from having to join the Imperial Army, catch it this weekend on Disney+. We’re extremely excited to see Yifei take on the role as the Disney hero we know and love.
