Succession’s Sarah Snook Stars In The Nightmarish Thriller, All Her Fault

Actress Sarah Snook, one of the breakout stars of Succession, stars in a new series that’s quite different from the squabbles of the Roy family. All Her Fault, a mystery thriller set to arrive on streaming next month, stars Snook as a mother who is confronted with the nightmare of going to pick up her son from a playdate – only to find he’s not there and no one knows where he is.
Dakota Fanning (The Watchers), Sophia Lillis (Asteroid City) and Michael Peña (Jack Ryan) round out the main cast- here’s everything you need to know:
What is All Her Fault about?
All Her Fault is based on the best-selling 2021 novel by Andrea Mara, and stars Snook as Marissa Irvine, a mother with a young son named Milo. After dropping him off for a playdate with a friend, she returns later to pick him up, only to find that the unknown woman who answers the door has no idea who she is or where Milo is. Suddenly, an apparently normal day turns into every parent’s worst nightmare, as Marissa begins desperately searching for her missing son.
News begins to spread around the community as an investigation is opened, and time is ticking for Milo to be found and returned safely. As whispers about who may have taken the boy intensify, it becomes clear that there are plenty of suspects – including Marissa herself. There are past events involving the Irvine family that have been kept secret and are now threatening to come to light.

The official trailer begins with Michael Peńa’s character Detective McConville saying, “99% of the time when a child goes missing, it’s a misunderstanding between parents, grandparents, nannies… but Milo’s been missing for nearly five hours now, it’s not a misunderstanding.” We also see Marissa being questioned by the press for possibly suspicious behaviour in the past, and Dakota Fanning’s character trying to comfort her.

What else do we know, and is there a release date?
Jake Lacy (Apples Never Fall) also stars alongside Snook as Marissa’s husband, Peter, who might be hiding secrets of his own. Other cast members include Abby Elliott (The Bear) and Jay Ellis (Top Gun Maverick). The series is set to release in the UK on 7th November on Sky and NOW.
