Inside The London Restaurant That Taylor Swift Visited
The Eras Tour finally arrived in London last weekend, with Swifties officially taking over the city with plenty of sparkles, glitter and friendship bracelets. And after three sold-out shows at Wembley, Taylor Swift ended her London visit with dinner at Marylebone’s A-list favourite, Chiltern Firehouse.
Chiltern Firehouse is quite the celeb haunt, with a clientele that includes Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan who visited just last week. Swift was accompanied by boyfriend Travis Kelce – who just broke the internet when he made his Eras Tour debut by appearing on stage at Wembley with Taylor during The Tortured Poets Department segment of the show. Sophie Turner also reportedly joined them with her boyfriend Peregrine Pearson, and singer Ellie Goulding was part of the late-night soirée too.

Originally a fire station built in 1889, Chiltern Firehouse was launched in 2013 by celebrity hotelier Andre Balazs, and has been a celebrity hotspot ever since it first opened. The 26-room restaurant with rooms features retro-style, glamorous bedrooms and an elegant restaurant with a DJ. The restaurant reserves room for its hotel guests and bookings have to be made months in advance for a chance to get a table here. (Walk-ins have a pretty slim chance of getting in). We checked out the hotel prices and found rooms priced between £760 to £1500 a night over the summer.

Who else has been spotted here?
Kate Moss, Cara Delevingne, Lindsay Lohan, Chris Martin, Tom Cruise, Gemma Chan, Jack Whitehall, Stella McCartney and Bradley Cooper are a few of the many A-listers who have been spotted dining here. There have been a fleet of royal appearances as well, with Princess Eugenie reportedly partying here after her engagement to Jack Brooksbank in 2018, and Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi throwing their engagement party here in 2019.
His view is that a hotel is only as good as its guests.
A Tatler interview with Balaz reports that “His view is that a hotel is only as good as its guests.” And with Chiltern Firehouse, it’s evident that this is a space that specifically caters to celebrities, friends of celebrities, and of course, those who want to spot celebrities (and can afford a visit here).
What’s on the menu?
As per the very discreet website, Chiltern Firehouse offers “contemporary, ingredient-focused cooking, with an underlying American accent.” Dishes on the menu include Devon crab tartlets with crème fraîche and trout roe, oysters Rockefeller, shrimp cocktail, steak tartare and lobster thermidor.

There are also house cocktails like the Eau De Nuit Martini (Seventy One gin, dry and Blanc Vermouth grapefruit aroma) and Audrey Horne (Tanqueray Ten, Campari, cherry aperitif and chocolate wine).
