From beauty products to fashion motifs, cherry print is trending for 2025. And as with most Pinterest-approved trends that go viral, the cute print has made its way into interiors too. Here’s how to ‘cherry code’ your abode in time for summer…

According to Pinterest’s Predicts 2025 list, “Cherry Coded” is trending. Described by the online platform as “Dark, sweet and such a vibe,” it feels like an appropriately juicy trend to tap into as we approach the fun summer months.

Dark, sweet and such a vibe.

There are plenty of ways to work the trend, and not all of them have to be sickly sweet or OTT kitschy. Go soft and pair the deep red motif with muted colours and natural fabrics, such as Anthropologie’s cute ceramic basket – a fun addition to the kitchen counter to store everything from eggs to herbs to a punnet of cherries, naturally.

Or, Payton James’ more rustic cherry-trimmed rattan placemats – perfect for those who love to host a good dinner party.

Speaking of hosting, Anthropologie’s (again, they are just so good right now) cocktail tray is outlined with a charming cherry garnish, adding a vibrant touch to your entertaining game and the perfect home for a glacier-cherry-topped Old Fashioned. The high street hero also does an olive version that is equally likeable.

To the bedroom, and a cherry theme can add a retro, chintzy feel, from ruffle-edged quilted bedding to the antique Edwardian occasional chair, sourced by Sharland England, that comes upholstered with a sweet chery print cushion – gorgeous as a reading nook by a window, a seat to the dressing table or even a side table next to the bed.

Finally, fruity prints and motifs are a great way of adding nothing more than some maximalist fun to a space. Case in point: Cereria Introna’s weird and wacky giant cherry-topped cake-shaped candles – a dopamine-inducing gift for a confessed maximalist; or Bull & Stein’s large cherry sculpture that will add flair to the side of a console or side table.

Cherry motifs feel right in the kitchen from cherry artwork on the walls to cherry printed storage tins for cutlery or herbs.

Cherry print for children’s rooms…

The retro charm and sugary sweetness of this trend work really well in a children’s bedroom, and there are plenty of gorgeous pieces out there right now.

We love Evie & Skye’s cherry ruffle bed set for something really special, or GEORGE’s checked, ruffled and cherry-emblazoned cushion for a supermarket steal. While this ‘Little Cherries On Stripes’ wallpaper will set a vintage tone for the whole room.
