Hunt for some Easter eggs
Easter is nothing without eggs, but just getting them handed to us on a plate would be too easy, so alas we have to hunt, for reasons I’m sure are sound.
The Little Egg Hunt 2024, brought to you by the Royal Charity Elephant Family and Clarence Court eggs, will see a number of eggs scattered across the borough of Chelsea for you to find. The large-scale egg sculptures are each designed by some of the world’s most notable artists in design, and architecture including Anya Hindmarch, James McQueen, and Natasha Kumar.

See a DJ at Lío London
Every weekend, after the main show, Lío transforms the iconic venue into a nightclub until the early hours. This weekend, legendary French artist Bob Sinclar, one of the longest-standing figures on the international electronic music scene, is joining the list of Lío’s performers for a one-night-only set on Friday 29th March.
Running from 11:30pm until 4am, this is the perfect way to take advantage of the extra-long weekend. Details below.

Climb the oldest tower in Hackney
St. Augustine’s Tower dates back all the way to the 13th Century and is the only part remaining of the original church.

Two events worth travelling for
Head to the annual Oxford-Cambridge boat race
If you’re like me, your entire understanding of boat racing is based on one scene from The Social Network.
Traditionally these races are not set to a remixed version of In The Hall Of The Mountain King, although pumping it through the tannoys would be one way of spicing things up. Oxford and Cambridge are involved, however, so there’s every chance they are being played in the backdrop of future billion-pound lawsuits. Either way, definitely a great day out.
