It feels like we only said ‘au revoir’ to Emily In Paris’ third season, but the beloved guilty pleasure show is now back for its hotly-anticipated fourth season. While we only have a few hints as to what’s coming in the latest season, the big news is that Emily is no longer going to be confined to Paris: she’s going to be heading to Italy. Here’s everything we know about Emily in Paris Season 4…

What happened at the end of Emily in Paris Season 3?

As the star of the show notes, “It’s safe to say that we ended on a… dramatic note last season.” The final episode of Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger (dun dun dun!) at the wedding of Emily’s long-time love interest Gabriel and bride-to-be Camille. But things turned upside down when the couple’s relationship broke down at the last minute, with Camille announcing that Gabriel actually had loved Emily all along.

Now, the two seemingly could get together and be an item after a will they, won’t they relationship. Gabriel had one last twist to tell Emily: that Camille was, in fact, pregnant with his child. Now Gabriel had a child to get ready for, while Camille had started seeing someone else.

Camille was left torn between the two, Emily’s current boyfriend Alfie felt led on, and Emily herself seemed to be back to square one. Dramatic indeed.

What can we expect from Emily In Paris Season 4?

Well, here’s the summary in the cast’s own words:

“Will Emily and Gabriel FINALLY get together?” is the big question that Collins asks- but of course, she doesn’t answer it. Emily in Paris Season 4 definitely has a fair few plot points to resolve aside from the Emily-Gabriel drama.

The questions on everyone’s lip are as follows… Will Mindy and her band end up competing at Eurovision? Will Sylvie’s newly revitalised relationship stay true? Will Gabriel finally get a coveted Michelin star? And will poor Alfie remain heartbroken? For now, we’ll just have to wait and see, though there’s a promise for more “fun, fashion and drama” in the next few episodes.

What else do we know?

Emily is also set to head out of Paris and France itself to land in Italy, with Collins teasing: “Don’t be surprised to find Emily on a Roman holiday- and referencing a lot of Audrey Hepburn. She might’ve finally settled into the rhythms of Paris, but jetting off to Italy’s capital city will definitely provide plenty more fish-out-of-water fodder for our heroine.

Emily in Paris season 4 release date
