Now that the mad dash for Glastonbury tickets is behind us, everyone has been asking the same question: who is actually playing? The rumour mill has been working overtime, and it looks like we are a step closer to an answer, with The Daily Mail reportedly leaking the line-up for Worthy Farm in 2027, causing something of an internet frenzy. So, is it any good? Here is what the team makes of it.

The rumoured line-up

Starting with the names that feel like safe bets, Sam Fender and Harry Styles look all but certain to appear, especially now that their 2027 tour dates have been confirmed and the festival fits neatly into the calendar.

Billie Eilish is the rumoured addition that has got people talking. She is no stranger to Worthy Farm, famously headlining the festival in 2022, so a return feels like a natural fit.

Meanwhile, the big question mark still hangs over the legends slot, which is still to be confirmed, and if past years are anything to go by, that could be where the biggest surprise lands.

The Handbook team’s verdict

The rumoured line-up has split opinion in The Handbook office, with some of the team feeling pleasantly surprised by what is on offer, while others are still holding out hope that a few bigger names will be thrown into the mix before the official announcement lands.

Being lucky enough to have won the ticket war last month, I am particularly invested in 2027’s lineup. Sam Fender is such a great shout, and I’d love to see him headline.

This year’s rumoured Glasto lineup isn’t really making me feel anything. Having missed The Eras Tour, I was holding out for a Taylor Swift cameo, but alas.

Natasha, Digital Editor

While I appreciate Sam Fender is a beloved local boy, it seems ambitious to put him in a headline slot – it’s the kind of thing you’d see at a regional festival. The whole alleged lineup just seems a couple of years behind the game.
