The Castle
Rum Shack
If there are two words that are music to our ears, then it they are rum shack. So we can’t make it out of London for the weekend to the rum soaked Caribbean, but we can head to Tooting, to The Castle for their weekend rum pop-up. Sit in the garden, order a classic, we’re thinking maybe a cuba libres or maybe trying a new favourite – rum and ginger ale. They also have the burger shack so you can soak up your cocktail with the likes of The Streaky or the Chilli Pulled Pork. Happy weekend!

Salon
Five-Course Feast
We love supper clubs, the fact that you never know who you might sit next to, who you might meet and the fact that the menu is always a little more exciting when you know you can only try it once. Over at Salon, in Brixton they’re hosting a supper club with Anna Tobias, Head Chef of The Rochelle Canteen. She’ll be joining Nicholas Balfe (Head Chef of Salon) to cook up a five-course feast packed full of delicious things, we’d love to give you more details but they’re keeping things under wraps, but we can’t imagine it will be anything less than wonderful given who is cooking.

Haymarket Hotel
Floating Exercise Class
It’s time to see just how good your core is. Why? Because this is no ordinary fitness class, you’re going to be squatting, doing planks and burpees – no big deal you say? Ok so how about doing it on a float in the middle of a swimming pool? Not so easy now is it. It is however great fun and a sure fire why to switch up your workout routine and get you in tip top shape. There is of course brunch afterwards, because what is a fitness class on a Saturday morning if you can’t have brunch after?

As part of the Quaglino’s 1920s Gin Joint extravaganza they’re hosting a classic Murder Mystery evening. So now is your time to find your inner Poirot or Miss Marple and it’s time to don your deer stalker hat to ask the important questions. Who was killed? In the billiards room or in the ballroom? Was it with the candlestick or the rope? The evening includes a Champagne reception, three course meal and everyone is pre-assigned their character so now is the time to put your amateur dramatics to good use. Set to be a lot of fun!
