We’re officially on the countdown to Christmas, woohoo! In the run up we’re sure you’ll be whizzing around the city grabbing your last few Christmas presents, decorations and other festive essentials but if you manage to grab yourself a little ‘you’ time amidst the chaos, here’s 15 ways to spend your weekend:
While the winter season might be abrim with Winter markets and festivities, draw your attention to London’s first ever immersive Winter festival. StarDust LDN will be pumping out ten hours of nonstop live music from acts like Artful Dodger, Shola Ama and Mike Skinner, festive activities and nonstop partying.

We can’t forgot about our current favourite exhibition spreading a little glitter around the Victoria and Albert. Ignite your imagination with a little help from Tim Walker and his Wonderful Things exhibition. Explore the marvellous and extraordinary creative process of one of the world’s most inventive photographers in his new exhibition, Wonderful Things, showcasing his pictures, films, photographic sets and wildly interesting installations.

If you can’t get enough of Tim Walker’s wildly wonderful designs, take a wander over to The Franklin Restaurant this weekend and sample their Wonderful Treats Afternoon Tea, celebrating the V&A’s exhibition. Curated by Alfredo Russo’s culinary team, expect to find delicate tiered bird cages filled with lobster filled black buns, twisted trees adorned with chocolate and yuzu macaroons and bundles of scones, because no afternoon tea experience is complete with a scone or two.

Baby Spice will be championing her inner Christmas hostess this Friday with a little help from some friendly faces. Action For Children has launched their very first Secret Santa Pop-Up Store in Covent Garden allowing Londoners the chance of being a Secret Santa for a child in need.
Adding a festive spin on the experience, the charity is working with Capgemini, a consulting, technology services and digital transformation company, creating an fun, immersive gifting experience: Elf.ai. The little elves will help you find the perfect gift using artificial intelligence.
