Sunrise Sessions at The Summer of Sound on the Roof are on at John Lewis this summer. The Oxford Street store is having fitness events on its roof through the summer, with options ranging from Yin Yang Yoga to BodyBarre to Pilates. Don’t miss your chance to get sweaty in the open air.

Madison, St. Paul’s is a great place to grab a drink after work to soak in the sun, but what about heading there to stretch it out? For the third year, Madison will be hosting Wednesday morning yoga classes by Sophie’s Fitness on their rooftop terrace. Anyone who has enjoyed the occasional glass of rosé there can attest that the views will not disappoint.

If you are looking for a range of work-out classes under the lovely London summer sun, head to Aviary throughout July for their new wellness pop-up series, RooFIT. Partake inn Sweat by BXR, a class focusing on strength and conditioning and cardio via HIIT boxing moves and ab drills paired with electrifying music. En Avant Ballet will also be hosting classes, giving guests the chance to strengthen muscles and stimulate their minds via classical ballet moves.
BXR classes are on Thursday and Friday mornings the last two weeks of July. Ballet will be on the last two weeks of August.

Park Plaza London Waterloo is launching summer yoga classes on its rooftop- and they are free for all Londoners! Paired with a de-stress specialist, the classes are sure to zen you out with an incredible view of countless landmarks. To sign up, just reserve a spot on their website, and if you really need to relax, pair the experience with a spa session at Mandara Spa inside the hotel.

East London Option
If you are in East London and want to ohm your heart out in the open air, Flow East Yoga has got you covered. A rooftop Vinyasa Flow class for all levels will let you de-stress with a great view. Head to Roof East for the class on Thursdays and Saturdays throughout the summer.

You may have been there to enjoy delectable French food, but Coq d’Argent is also the home to a summer yoga experience. Fat Buddha Yoga is running morning yoga sessions from the restaurant’s rooftop garden all summer with amazing views of the city skyline. These classes are high energy, paired with fun music to get your day started. Afterwards, guests can enjoy breakfast, complete with Greek yoghurt, smoked salmon, avocado toast and more.

Get Your Toes Sandy
Beach fanatic who can’t seem to find the time to get to Briton? Yoga at Neverland London’s Fulham Beach Club could be for you. While it’s not on a rooftop, this yoga class is outside AND on the beach, so get ready to take a child’s pose while surrounded by palm trees, beach huts and sand. Options range from Vinyasa to Acro, and the sand is proven to strength muscles and joints in a way that hard ground cannot. There are even ‘destination days,’ where classes transport you to spots like Tahiti or Fiji.
Classes are through September, every Saturday at 10:15am.

Stretch in style at The Berkeley this summer. Their new rooftop yoga classes, held in the secret garden overlooking Hyde Park, are sure to be amazing. The hour-long classes only cater to 8 people at a time and are led by yoga masters. Poses will include sun salutations and strengthening poses from a variety of yoga traditions. All are welcome, not just hotel guests, and the price of class can include a delicious post-stretch smoothie or a full healthy breakfast and half-day Berkeley Health Club pass.
