Boozy Cacao Supper Club

Starting their next year of supper clubs, TT Liquor, have joined forces with Pao and the Gang to host a one-off boozy dinner which focuses on all things cacao. Following the process that is used to make chocolate, you’ll sit down to a five -course feast which includes dishes inspired by the fruits and seeds, cocoa butter and finally chocolate. TT Liquor will provide a  cocktail with each dish and after, you can explore their specialist Liquor Store.

Morito Exmouth Market

Celebrating the Calçot

Calçots are a type of green onion from Catalonia, imagine crossing a leek and a spring onion and that’s roughly where they are at. Why are we telling you this? Because this Sunday (and every Sunday in February) Morito will be serving a set calçot menu, bringing a little of the Gran Fiesta de la Calçotada (the Catalonian festival) atmosphere to Exmouth Market. The menu will include charcoal grilled calçots wrapped in newspaper and served with romesco; calçots served with grilled chorizo, morciall and butifarra with white beans or salt cod with potatoes, green peppers and aioli. Finish with almond tart and slices of chilled orange.

Launceston Place

All About the Chicken

Sunday is the day for feasting and roast dinners and head chef at Launceston Place, Ben Murphy, is putting a twist on the classic lunch with tasting menus. Each month he’ll take a different meat and explore the different cuts and the way to make the most of it to reduce waste. On Sundays throughout February you’ll be able to try a five-course roast chicken menu that uses every part of the bird from the eggs to the bones. Dishes include eggs and soldiers with truffle; chicken breast with wild garlic and peanut and chicken parfait with granola and blood orange. In March it’ll all be about beef and in April the dishes will all focus on lamb.

Culinary History Journey

If you want to get out of London this weekend, then let us suggest Bray High Street to you, because for one day and one day only, the team from London’s two Michelin starred Dinner by Heston Blumenthal will be hosting a culinary journey of history at The Hind’s Head. The five-course menu will include saffron with calf tail and red wine; spiced pigeon with ale and artichokes and the famous meat fruit made up of mandarin, chicken liver parfait and grilled bread.

Pisco Sour Masterclass

This Saturday is not just any Saturday, it’s the start of Pisco Sour Week. A week to raise a glass to Peru’s national drink. Yorkshire Pudding Roast At OSLO

Since 2008, the first Sunday in February has marked a very important date in the calendar: British Yorkshire Pudding Day.
