What to do This Weekend: 9th – 11th March
The weekend is here! A weekend of Ben & Jerry’s, Bali and boating (who doesn’t love a bit of alliteration?) and also don’t forget it’s Mother’s Day…
How to Celebrate Mother's Day
Afternoon Teas and Champagne
Sunday, the day to celebrate the most important ladies in our lives, our mums and those who have raised us – because dealing with emotional, financial and physical woes is one heck of a job. If you need a little inspiration (read: completely forgotten and now you’re panicking) then check out our guide.

Dirty Disco Brunch
Bottomless Prosecco, Craft Beer, Espresso Martinis and Food
Not only is the food going to be dirty at this brunch, think bacon sandwiches, French toast and sausages, but so is your hangover as you get two hours of bottomless Prosecco, craft beer and espresso martinis. Then you can dance the afternoon away as London Disco Society will be there providing the tunes and given that it finishes at 5pm, you might as well start your Saturday night there.

Women's Head of the River Race
The Biggest Women's Boat Race in the World
If you’ve ever walked along the Thames around Putney and Hammersmith at the weekend then you’ll have seen that it tends to be filled with rowers. This weekend, all their hard work, early mornings and training will culminate in the Women’s Head of the River Race. It’s the largest women’s rowing race in the world, with around 2,880 women racing and this year, 319 crews taking part – it’s certainly a sight to see that many boats on the water. Starting at 9:45am at Chiswick Bridge, grab a coffee, walk along the Thames or get a place on Hammersmith Bridge and get wrapped up in the atmosphere. If you’re busy on Saturday then you can catch the men’s race on the Sunday. Who knows, maybe you’ll be inspired to start a new sport.

Ben & Jerry's Ball Pit
Free Birthday Cake Ice Cream
Well who’d have thought it, Ben & Jerry’s has been around for forty years. That’s forty years of Phish Food, Half Baked and Cookie Dough. To celebrate they have released a new flavour, aptly named Ben & Jerry’s Birthday Cake: vanilla cake batter ice cream with pink frosting, strawberry swirls and cake pieces and you’ll be able to try it this weekend! Popping up at Old Spitalfields Market, they’ll be handing out free scoops of Birthday Cake ice cream and in a nostalgic twist they have an adult only ball pit, so you can jump into 45,000 plastic coloured balls like you were six again.
