10 Things To Do This December Weekend

12th December 2024 | By Andrea Pinto

Unbelievably, we are already two weeks from Christmas and we have officially reached peak festive spirit. There are Christmas lights to see, winter terraces to get cosy in and holiday films to watch – here’s our list of fun and festive things to do this weekend in and around London.

Visit an alpine-inspired winter terrace

Cosy up at one of London’s most inviting winter terraces – Theo’s on the Terrace at Number One Park Lane. Bringing a slice of the Dolomites to Mayfair, nestle into plush blankets and rustic wooden surroundings while enjoying Theo Randall’s menu all inspired by Italy’s alpine region. Start your meal with creamy Fonduta di Formaggio or polenta fritters with nduja butter, then dig into hearty dishes like beef ragu lasagne or black truffle risotto. Finish with festive desserts like polenta and orange cake or apple strudel, and sip on an après-ski drink or two like the fig-infused Firgoni Negroni or sparkling wines and champagnes.
