There was a whole sweet store of hues at Zimmermann.

Like florals in spring, pastels in summer are a bit of a no-brainer, so slipping into saccharine shades in the warm months just feels right.

Plenty of the big-name brands have showcased pastel shades on the runway for SS25, from parma violet-inspired shirting at Prada to pops of lemony yellow beneath contrasting khaki at Bottega Veneta and a whole sweet store of hues at Australian-based label, Zimmermann.

Pastels have also been a huge hit on the red carpet, with myriad looks taking centre stage at the 2025 Oscars. We loved Ariana in her Schiaparelli scalloped bodice and layers of pretty pale pink shiffon, as well as Best Actress award-winner Mickey Madison in a sugar almond pink column dress by Dior. Shout out has to go to the men, too and Timothée Chalamet‘s lemon sorbet-hued Givenchy suit. Pure perfection.

We love the vintage feel of Mint Velvet’s yellow starfish button top, as seen on French style influencer, Franny.
