What is your holiday status? As Coronavirus lockdown measures, social restrictions, quarantine and vaccine passports continue to play havoc with travel plans, it seems we’re all in a state of limbo. While we hold out hope for an actual vacation – or failing that, a great British staycation – one thing is for sure, when the airways do open, we’ll be ready to fly. We’ve pre planned the packing list well ahead of time to ensure a seamless and stylish departure.
Numbers are down and things are definitely looking up so a holiday could well be on the horizon. Besides, in the midst of all this drama we’ve had a little bit of time on our hands to dream up our ultimate vacation- staycation wardrobe.
Whether you’re catching some rays in Île de Ré, or basking in the glory of the Gower’s marvellous beaches, it’s important to invest in a few essentials and give yourself and your wardrobe a new season boost.
If you need a cool cover-up for throwing on poolside, sunny separates for sight-seeing, a flirty dinner dress, or even a smattering of new accessories – sunglasses and swimsuits are a must – see our edit below.
We’ve skipped past the dental floss and deodorant and headed straight for the good stuff. From the easy slip-on to compliment your Aperol Spritz, and must-have two-piece to match your Margarita, it’s all here. There is nothing tiresome about this packing list.
You’ll probably have to leave your bookings to the very last minute, so you might as well throw caution to the wind and tick off the essentials now.
This easy two piece will pack like a dream. Wear as a pair, or wear the top with high-waisted shorts, and the skirt with a white tee. Easy chic.
