Yes, you can find bouquets at your local supermarket, but we know you want something a little more dramatic. Whether you’re dropping hints, gifting or treating yourself, we’ve found the most spectacular Valentine’s Day flowers that give all the love vibes…and some…

Gone are the days of wilted roses and dried-out carnations. The floristry industry has had a makeover with creators breaking down traditions and delivering flamboyant displays of colourful blooms. Take East London-based Rebel Rebel, founded by Mairead Curtin and Athena Duncan, where you’ll forever be mesmerised by eclectic and wild mixes. Expect bunches of Red Panther and Peach Expression roses, and Scabiosa or pink Anthurium ‘Candy’, black Calla lilies and red ‘Invictus’ lily.

Then, there’s one of my local favourites, Filth. Headed up by Creative Director Rosy, this contemporary flower studio based in South London is your go-to for truly unique arrangements. If you’re after a showstopper, you’ll find it here.

Filth was founded out of a desire to produce bold, architectural, highly creative floristry. Filth is rooted in a belief that floristry should be reimagined as another art form, which plays with colour, texture and shape. Filth is floral design for a new generation.

Also notable for its artistry, Scarlet & Violet, famed for its magical Christmas wreaths, is a must. Imagine all that festive drama in a Valentine’s Day bouquet. We’re talking hot pinks, deep reds and scarlet, not to mention the freshest, seasonal stems.

Urban Flower Co, Untitled Flowers, and Brothers Green are the perfect examples of bold, ground-breaking creators. If you’re looking to make a grand gesture, these specialise in the extravagant and grandiose. Admittedly, I only recently discovered Brothers Green. Thank you, Insta. But I’ve been blown away by this family-run florist and lifestyle store in the heart of Herne Hill. Brought to you by two brothers, Danny and Luke, their Wild Heart bouquet is breathtaking.

And finally, mega kudos to Saints for the Self-Send section, because while it’s gorgeous to receive, it’s also decadent and well-deserved to spoil ourselves.
