10 Best Things To Do This Winter Weekend

Congratulations folks, we’ve finally made it to the end of January. We thought we’d never get here..but here we are. There’s lots on this weekend, especially for foodies, from Lunar New Year -don’t miss London’s parade in West End, to a delicious new Sunday roast worth travelling for.
Celebrate Chinese New Year
This year, London’s celebratory parade will make its way through the West End on 1st February to celebrate The Year of the Snake, and food plays an important part in the celebration. Bring in the Lunar New Year in style at the House of Ming in the heart of London, which has launched an exclusive Year of the Snake menu with dishes like Fortune’s Crimson Treasure and unique cocktails like The Clever Snake and Victory Over Nian.

Visit one of London’s best bakeries
We have the perfect excuse to grab a croissant this weekend – it’s National Croissant Day (yes, that’s actually a thing). From freshly baked bread and tartines, to rotisserie chicken and fresh salads, Le Deli Robuchon is a great spot to head to for an afternoon coffee or a fruity dessert, but the croissants are real showstoppers. The menu can get quite experimental and full of fresh, seasonal goodness. As for the croissants – go for the almond flavour, it’s hard to find a better one in London.
