The best celebrity alcohol brands to try now

Della Vite, The Delevingne Sisters
The famous fashionista sisters Poppy, Cara and Chloe Delevingne have crafted a Prosecco brand that’s fit for any work-do, after party or social gathering.
The three sisters brought us exciting news back in September 2020 that they would be launching two high-quality Proseccos at affordable prices. Made with sharing the love – whether together or apart – Della Vite is a vegan and sustainably made Prosecco, and was made in collaboration with a third-generation wine-making family at a winery in the Valdobbiadene valley in north-eastern Italy.
Available in the UK, Della Vite boasts two quality Proseccos; the light Della Vite Prosecco Superiore, which has aromas of citrus blossom and olive, and is made exclusively from Glera grapes, and the vertasile, Della Vite Treviso Prosecco DOC which is perfect for mixing up cocktails at home. As you’d expect, the branding is super stylish. Think sleek thin black bottles with gold lettering.
If you’re more of a rosé lover, they’ve just launched the DV Prosecco Rosé. Smooth and light, it’s made for summer parties.
The Perfect Cosmo by SJP
Let yourself live out your Sex and the City dreams and sip on a cosmo that’s been designed, created and tested by Sarah Jessica Parker. The acting powerhouse brings her expertise, charisma and a touch of Carrie Bradshaw to the table with this creation, serving up a cocktail that’s as fruity as it is flirty.
Available in bottle or can form, expect a rumble of flavour to come centrefold, from the cranberry and hint of strawberry to the fresh lime and smooth vodka.
Wines by Kylie Minogue
One wine you won’t be able to get out of your head is created by none other than pop icon Kylie Minogue. She’s been topping the charts since 1987 but in 2020 she took a step back and entered the wine world. Partnering up with London-based distributor Benchmark Drinks and with multiple awards already under its belt, in just three years the brand has added eight wines to its portfolio – and each is just as refined as the next.

King St. Vodka
Noticing a gap in the market for vodkas founded by women, Kate Hudson pulled up a chair at the male-dominated table and created one of her own. Distilled in Santa Barbara, the vodka is cut with alkaline water and distilled seven times before making its way to your glass.
With so many cocktail recipes on their website for inspo, from a vegan white Russian to a spicy vodka tonic, mix it into your favourite and sip into the night. The bottle is pretty enough to keep on your display cabinet even after it’s empty.
Porte Noire, Idris Elba
More recently known for his gritty role in the British psychological crime drama series, Luther, Idris Elba should also be noted for his new prestigious wine brand, Porte Noire.
Yep, Idris is another celebrity making a name for themselves in the alcoholic beverage industry, with him recently launching Porte Noire. Sailing in from the vineyard of the Sanger school in Grand Cru Avize, Idris has launched a Champagne and rosé. He said that it was the story of the winery that he fell in love with. He commented, “I wanted to put together a special collection of wines with stories I think need to be told. I’ve always understood the importance of story and these additions to Porte Noire are great conversation starters.”
For the Porte Noire Champagne, he wanted to keep the spirit of the school at the forefront, making sure it’s of the highest quality and crafted in the traditional way, by the hard-working hands of France’s future Champagne masters. Meanwhile, the Porte Noire Rose is a delicate blend of Grenache and Cinsault from Chateau Sainte Marguerite, a family-owned vineyard from La Londe Les Maures.

Casamigos, George Clooney
When you think of celebrity-owned brands, one that immediately floods to mind is George Clooney and his Casamigos endeavour.
Born out of a love of tequila, longtime friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman fused this passion together to create the best-tasting, smoothest Tequila and Mezcal that didn’t need to be swirled down with a pinch of salt or wedge of lime. But it was a drink that they never intended to release to the public.
Years later however, we can all enjoy the flavours and unique blend of Casamigos around the world.
With three tequilas and one mezcal to choose from, there’s something to suit every individual’s palette, from the Reposado, which has notes of dried fruits and spicy oak with a touch of sweetness, to the Mezcal, noted for its smokiness and silky finish.
818 Tequila
When she’s not modelling, recording for the latest season of The Kardashians or cutting cucumber awkwardly, Kendall Jenner is creating new flavours for her tequila brand.
Working closely with family-owned farms in Jalisco, Mexico, 818 Tequila uses the finest ingredients to create a shared drink to remember. As well as keeping things local, they are dedicated to sustainability, from the agave they grow through to the production of their bottle.
Right now they have three different varieties: blanco, reposado and añejo, depending on your preference.
Próspero Tequila, Rita Ora
Continuing on the tequila front, Rita Ora has also been making a name for herself in the spirit world. Back in 2019, Rita joined forces with Conecuh Brands to launch her now widely available and easy to drink, Próspero Tequila.
Working alongside Stella Anguiano, one of Mexico’s leading female Master Distillers, Próspero is a hand-crafted spirit that balances the sweetness from the agave with a smooth, elegant finish. The brand prides itself on being authentic, with every element of the process being made by hand, from the bottle through to the tequila and illustrated label.
It’s currently sold at Selfridges and The Bottle Club in the UK.

Haig Club, David Beckham
David Beckham isn’t just the face of the advertising campaign for Haig Club, he’s also a brand partner.
Having always been a fan of the brand, David became a partner in the company and since has refreshed his image and the brand’s image in tow. Haig Club today, prides itself on its Single Grain Scotch Whisky which is full of flavour, style and character. It’s notable for its iconic blue bottles, but also its heritage and flavour.
There are two main counterparts of the brand, the Haig Club Deluxe, which is a Single Grain Scotch Whisky which is helping to ‘represent an exciting new direction in Scotch’, and the Haig Club Clubman, which inherits the progressive spirit of Deluxe whilst also incorporating the House of Haig’s 400 year heritage.
They’ve also more recently released ‘ready to drink’ packs using Haig Club Clubman, mixed with either root ginger ale and lime, or crafted cola. These are perfect for parties, picnics and gatherings.
Aviation American Gin, Ryan Reynolds
With a quirky and humorous marketing campaign, Aviation American Gin is co-owned by the face of it all, Ryan Reynolds.
Aviation American Gin has carefully thought out its advertising strategy, understanding that using Ryan Reynolds as the face of the gin is the right way forward. It’s his slightly smug nature that’s enticing and leaves you wanting to try ‘hands down, the best’ gin on the planet.

The gin itself is distilled using a proprietary maceration recipe that produces an array of botanical flavours, from the infusion process using cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper and orange peel, to distillation.
Betty Buzz, Blake Lively
Not alcoholic but too good to not include because, well, it’s owned by Blake Lively that’s why. Blake doesn’t drink and despite being married to Ryan Renolds known for his gin empire, she wanted to create a mixer that’s just as powerful as the spirit. Enter Betty Buzz, the American-style tonic water that’s made with clean ingredients, real juice and natural flavours. Right now there are five flavours in the portfolio and is only sold State-side, although we’re almost certain it’ll make its way across the pond soon.
Heaven’s Door, Bob Dylan
Moving onto whiskey, Heaven’s Door is an award-winning collection of handcrafted American whiskeys that have been developed in partnership with Bob Dylan. From the distinct taste through to the design which is based on his welded iron gates in his studio, Black Buffalo Ironworks, Bob Dylan has helped to craft a whiskey that’ll make you feel like a rockstar.
Having launched in April 2018, the brand has since grown in strength and association with Dylan, keeping to his core values and views of creating a good ol’ tipple. In 2019, The Bootleg Series was launched, named after his famous ‘Bootleg Series’ of albums. Try out the 2020 edition for yourself, a 15-year-old straight bourbon whiskey finished in Jamaican pot still rum casks.
Avaline Wine, Cameron Diaz
The now-retired actress, Cameron Diaz is also another celebrity who has ventured into the wine world, creating Avaline, a clean and delicious alternative to your typical calorie-heavy dinner party tipple.
Diaz has joined forces with fashion CEO Katherine Power to create this organic and health-conscious wine brand. Each wine is from a different region; the sparkling wine is from one of the oldest wineries in the world, Raventós i Blanc, while the white is from a family-owned winery, Can Ràfols dels Caus, and the rosé is from Mas de Cadenet in the Provence region. Each of these wineries has been chosen carefully for its sustainability approach to winemaking.
Although it’s currently not available in the UK, we’re certain it’s only a short amount of time before it’ll become readily available as a drink of choice at your dinner party.
Ten to One Rum, Ciara
Grounded in Caribbean culture and heritage, Ten to One Rum was set up by rum lover Marc Farrell. Back in 2021, American singer-songwriter Ciara took to the company, investing and becoming co-owner of the Caribbean-influenced spirit.
Currently, there are two rums in the portfolio. The Dark Rum is a blend of eight-year-old Barbados and Dominican column still rums, that’s then combined with high-ester Jamaican pot still rum and Trinidadian rum. The result is an almost spiced, woody finish with notes of banana peel, baking spice, yellow apple, tobacco, cedar, nut loaf and leather. While their White Rum is a smoother spirit, with notes of jasmine, honeysuckle, white pepper and lemongrass.

Teremana Tequila, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson
Is there anything this man can’t and hasn’t done? Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, also has his own tequila empire. Crafted in a small Mexican town, at the top of the peaks of the Jalisco Highland mountains, Teremana Tequila is bright, fragrant and aspires to honour the land in which it came from.
With both a clear and lightly coloured tequila to choose from, there’s one for every tequila lover. The Blanco is light with bright citrus flavours and a smooth finish, while the Repusado holds notes of oak and vanilla with a rich finish.
Hugely sustainable too, the brand takes 100% of the left over agave fibres and turns it into natural compost which is then used as an organic fertiliser for the agave fields. In all, helping to reduce their carbon footprint and give back to the land that helped produce the product.
Maison No. 9, Post Malone
Known for songwriting, rapping and edgy face tattoos, Austin Richard Post, known more widely as Post Malone, is also the man behind Maison No.9, a rosé wine brand.
With rosé being described by Post Malone himself as “rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy,” that’s exactly what you can expect from the French Riviera Rosé. It’s as Post Malone puts it simply: crisp, refreshing and very smooth. The first batch of 50,000 bottles sold out in as little as 48 hours so it’s certainly in high demand but worth trying to get your hands on a bottle to see how the A-lister enjoys his tipples.
Virginia Black, Drake
Produced in collaboration with DeLeon Tequila founder Brent Hocking, Drake launched his alcohol venture in 2016 with Virginia Black Whiskey. It’s noted for its rich flavour while still being smooth on the palette.

No expense has been spared on the flavour or style, with the bottle looking as if it’s been plucked from a perfume counter. It’s slick, cool and edgy. The website advertising is also really cool, with a soundtrack currently created by dvsn, a Canadian R&B duo, composed of singer Daniel Daley and producer Nineteen85.

SelvaRey Rum
Serving up holiday vibes by the glass, SelvaRey Rum is from Bruno Mars. The brand, with four flavours on offer, is the perfect base for any cocktail, whether you’re looking for something to pair with your pina colada, mai tai, mojito or daiquiri.
For those who like something a little different, look at the brand’s chocolate rum offering. It might not be for everyone but it’s great sipped on its own to really make the most of its unique flavour.
