Move over, Met Gala, The Devil Wears Prada 2 just claimed the title for the year’s most coveted invite. Last night, fashion royalty gathered in New York City to celebrate Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway’s official return to the world of Runway Magazine. From bespoke Prada to archival Givenchy, here are our favourite looks from the night.

Anne Hathaway’s press tour wardrobe has dominated our feed in recent months, and last night served as her grand final act. The custom Louis Vuitton look featured a structured crimson red gown, serving as a high-fashion love letter to the film’s iconic legacy.

Not to be outdone, Hathaway’s legendary on-screen partner in crime, Meryl Streep, stepped out in a breathtaking, cape-inspired gown by Sarah Burton for Givenchy.

Making a spectacular entrance as the franchise’s newest face, Simone Ashley delivered exactly what the fashion set was craving. The Bridgerton star opted for a custom Prada ensemble in a vibrant green shade, which she paired with silver jewellery and matching heels.

Also making her return to the halls of Runway, Emily Blunt stepped out in a Schiaparelli number, which arguably won her the title of the night’s best dressed. The look was completed with a head-turning necklace, made of 156 Akoya cultured pearls.

Lady Gaga was also among the stars in attendance as she gears up to feature on the film’s soundtrack. The singer stepped out in an archival YSL piece from its Fall/Winter 2016 collection.
