8 New London Restaurant Openings To Look Forward To This Month

January has finally come to an end, and we’ve got our eyes on all the fabulous new restaurant openings this month. If you’re looking for something shiny and new, these are the places opening in February worth checking out:

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants will be taking London’s restaurant and bar scene to new levels with the opening of five stunning culinary experiences. Opening on 3rd February, the top three floors of 22 Bishopsgate will welcome three new restaurants, a must-visit bar and a Gordon Ramsay Academy powered by HexClad. So you will soon be able to enjoy exceptional fare and an exciting drinks menu while being wowed by the breathtaking, unparalleled views of the London skyline, including Tower Bridge, The Shard and St Paul’s Cathedral. On our radar is Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay, which will become the capital’s highest restaurant on floor 60, offering an Asian-inspired menu with unparalleled 360-degree views of the city and beyond. Level 60 will also feature an exceptional 12-seat Chef’s Table ‘Restaurant Gordon Ramsay – High’.

TAMISé

The latest addition to Park Hyatt London River Thames‘s impressive collection of dining and drinking outlets, TAMISé Wine Library and Tea Lounge, launching in February, is set to offer a cultivated approach to wine and tea indulgence. With its elegant ambience and stunning waterfront views, TAMISé features a professional wine cellar and tasting room, where guests can enjoy both intimate moments and vibrant celebrations in a unique day-to-night setting, in addition to a special afternoon tea experience launching later this year.

La Môme London

A new chapter for this Cannes legend is about to begin at The Berkeley, with the Lecorché brothers bringing the timeless glamour of their renowned restaurants to London. La Môme is a must-visit when visiting Cannes, loved as much by movie stars and tourists and locals alike. Renowned for its fun, stylish yet relaxed atmosphere, serving quintessential Mediterranean dishes with a taste of Provence and Italy, the restaurant will feature many of their signature classics.

ALBA London

A new restaurant on Brompton Road, a stone’s throw from Harrods, will be opening in February 2025, bringing a taste of the Amalfi to Knightsbridge. Expect a little slice of the Italian coast in West London with dishes like risotto con gambero and saffron, and Sicilian carpaccio gambero rossi di mkazara. ALBA takes traditional delicacies and adds luxurious flourishes with incredible ingredients like caviar, truffle, wagyu or yellowfin tuna.

Applebee’s

Applebee’s, an institution of Borough Market for 25 years, is set to celebrate its milestone anniversary with an exciting relaunch and is set to reopen on 13th February. Look forward to a brand new concept, menu and refurbishment of the space, with Applebee’s showcasing the best of seasonal, sustainable British seafood. Look forward to standout dishes including grilled Dover sole, served with brown shrimp and lemon butter. Another hero dish is the British interpretation of a bouillabaisse – a zero-waste creation that incorporates every part of the fish and seafood and replaces traditional Gruyère cheese with Lincolnshire Poacher for a distinctly local touch.

The Knave of Clubs

James Dye (of Camberwell Arms, Bambi and Franks) and Benjy Leibowitz (from The NoMad and JKS) are to re-open the historic Grade II listed Shoreditch pub, The Knave of Clubs on February 27th. Centred around a custom rotisserie grill, food at The Knave is inspired both by French markets, and the tradition of Sunday lunch. Rotisserie chicken will be The Knave’s signature dish, marinated in chermoula, and served with chicken fat potatoes cooked in the bottom of the grill. Pub snacks will include venison sausage rolls with spiced ketchup, prawn scotch eggs with chilli jam, fish cakes with old bay seasoning and lemon aioli, and more.

Dough Hands

If you’re looking for a new pizza place in London, head to the new Dough Hands, the second permanent location in the city. Behind the magic of Dough Hands is chef Hannah Drye who describes it as a “mash of influences with big flavours”. Expect combinations like stracciatella and Calabrian chilli and pepperoni and jalapeño – all served on a light, crispy base.

Dough Hands is opening a second permanent residency.

Oorja

Oorja (meaning ‘energy’ in Hindi) is London’s newest Indian restaurant, which will present casual comfort food with a focus on small plates inspired by Northern Indian recipes that have been handed down by generations. Spread across two floors, the restaurant will hold 105 covers featuring a downstairs bar area, and showcasing an all-day dining experience. Transport yourself to the bustling streets of Mumbai and tuck into egg burji on toast with three eggs, spiced and scrambled, served on sourdough. Also look forward to BBQ butterfly chicken, Indian-style fire spatchcock chicken marinated in BBQ sauce, fenugreek and cream cheese served with mint chutney onion salad on the side, and railway lamb curry (succulent lamb leg with aromatic black cardamon, mace and onion-base sauce).
