A New Food Festival Is Landing Next Month, Here’s How To Get Tickets
Calling all London foodies: there’s a new food festival on the block and it’s landing in the capital this September.
Introducing Future of Food, a week-long celebration of food taking place across Regent Street and St James’s. Running from 18th until 24th September, it celebrates the diversity of the culinary scene in central London. Rooted in sustainability, innovation and creativity, the festival brings together 17 exciting events from 23 restaurants and chefs and Regent Street’s very first Urban Farm.
Part of Regent Street and St James’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, Future of Food explores the path to a more sustainable food future through forward-thinking initiatives and educating events. Designed to inspire local communities, Londoners can expect one-off ticketed dining events headlined by big-name chefs, on-street feasts, masterclasses and talks, drop-in sessions and events at the new Urban Farm and a whole lot more.

Future of Food events to book
From reusable ingredients and Michelin-starred menus to eating in ‘space’, the Future of Food festival includes 17 exciting events with 23 iconic London restaurants and award-winning chefs participating. These are the event highlights you won’t want to miss:
Chef All Stars: Taste & Talk
Led by three leading female chefs, Apricity’s Chantelle Nicholson, Myrtle’s Anna Haugh and The Pem Restaurant’s Sally Abe, you’re invited to take part in an after-hours drinks reception and live cooking demonstration and tasting. Tickets include a drinks reception and three tasting dishes delivered by each of the chefs, inspired by their vision for the future of food – expect to be blown away by their creativity and passion.

Tendril: A Mostly (Vegan) Kitchen
Hosted by head chef Rishim Sachdeva, the evening will see Sachdeva share his knowledge and expertise on reusing and repurposing ingredients to produce inspiring dishes that deliver the future of food on a plate. Seasonal and local produce will be championed in this four-course mostly vegan menu.
On-Street Feasts
Take your feasting up a notch and book in for one of Future of Food’s on-street feasts. There’ll be two feast events over the course of the festival. St James’s Market feast will see you dining al fresco, banquet-style at the must-loved food quarter, enjoying four courses from ‘O ver, Fallow, Toba and Scully.
While Heddon Street’s event will see you enjoying dishes and drinks from The Starman, Piccolino, Heddon Street Kitchen, Casa Do Frango and Yokocho.
Wiltons x Secret Smokehouse
Wiltons Restaurant and the founder of the Secret Smokehouse will be partnering up for an evening full of Britain’s finest seafood. The evening includes an introduction from Secret Smokehouse founder, Max and Wiltons. head chef Daniel Kent, sharing their vision on the future of fishing, as well as a three-course tasting menu featuring the UK’s first sustainable land-based smoked salmon.
Visit Regent Street’s First Urban Farm
Created in partnership with Square Mile Farms, Regent Street unveils its very first Urban Farm. Acting as a central hub for Future of Food, there will be daily drop-in sessions and ticketed events throughout the week-long festival, allowing visitors to delve deeper and learn more about sustainable urban practices.
Open daily from 10am – 8pm, free-to-book workshops include hands-on micro herb masterclasses, chef-led pesto-making demonstrations using herbs from the on-site farm pods and educational talks that shed light on building a sustainable food ecosystem.
There’ll also be ticketed events including the official opening at the Urban Farm, including mindful mixology classes with Sapling Spirits mixologist using herbs grown on-site.
Throughout September (Friday 1st – Saturday 16th; Monday 25th – Saturday 30th), Urban Farm will continue running daily harvest and tasting drop-in sessions.
